Please optimise your systems. You can’t have customers waiting in queues for more than 2 hours.

Standard Bank Carnival Mall is the worst branch I have been to, the queues are very long and the service is very slow. As a person living with a disability I really don't understand why there is a note that states "older people and people with disabilities must be given a priority" while we stand on long queues without anyone attending to us unlike other Standard Bank branches and other banks. I have accounts with other banks and never even one time experience a bad service. The Branch Manager is very rude and no customer service. Im even thinking of taking my business to another bank and will never recommend this bank to anyone .

Worst branch. 2-4 hours to receive service..nah that’s bad

Spent 2 hours to get in at 14h30. Tried to activate the credit card. System kept giving errors. After numerous phones call between standard bank and standard bank customer service and It department still cannot activate the card. According to Standard bank IT, this branch has the old finger print scanners and it does work with the new Standard Bank cards. Service at this branch is very very poor. Don't waste your time coming here, you will be disappointed and frustrated.

Standing in a queue for more than an hour, only to move 4 'spots' to see a consultant, WHILE ONLY 2 ARE AVAILABLE & READY TO SERVE CLIENTS!!! This is ridiculous!!!! The queue inside the bank is 11 customers long & outside in the mall 30 more clients are praying to get in & be served ........ surely something more workable can be done to help their customers????

Service is shocking. We got there as the bank opened. My elderly dad had to wait over an hour and then they took another person who came later first. Mapule Mokkgabundi however was awesome when we sat with her. She was friendly, understood my frustration. Her colleagues could learn alot from her.

I would like to give the Standard Bank - The Mall @ Carnival branch a more than 5 Stars rating for excellence in customer service. On the 3rd June 2021, I visited the branch to open a savings account - The Service Consultant: Phuti gave me a great service. During the interaction; I enquired about opening a business account. She then sent my details to the business relationship manager: Altaaf Sayed. To my great amazement; In few minutes; Sayed called me to setup for the opening of the business account. Wow, wow! Such great efficiency. Thanks to Phuti for Great Service Thanks to Sayed for Super Efficiency Thank you to Standard Bank: The Mall @ Carnival for the sterling service and excellence in customer service. Ja neh Standard bank mall @ Carnival! They don't answer their phones even when they are called by their call center oh wow! You go to the branch they take forever to attend to a client.

Worst customer service ever!!! Spent 2 hours in the queue to collect a card. Went home and tried to access my funds only to find out that the consultant who helped me did not disable the lock on the account!! Spent hours on the phone trying to sort it out with no success. Will not recommend this branch to anyone!! You will be wasting your time here. Staff have no idea what is going on or how to do things!! Extremely upset
