Love the vibe! Popcorn is fresh and cinema is clean. Would just love it more if all the popcorn spices were vegan friendly and if they had more vegan friendly snacks.
Our movie broke... At least the staff were kind enough to completely reimburse our movie ticket and snacks. It would have been nice for them to give us a discount on a future movie to encourage us to come back though.
Movies have gotten pretty expensive so when you go to the cinema you want to sit in the dark and be submerged in your film. The problem I have with this Ster Kinekor is that I could hear the movie playing in the venue next to mine. The fact that it was a musical kind of made it worse, every time I got sucked into my movie I would get distracted by the musical number in the venue next to mine. I would rather pay more and go to an Imax. But the staff is friendly and helpful!
We went to the movies as a group of 9, all over sixties. None of our SK cards worked, it took more than 30 minutes for all of us to get tickets. My husband and I ended up paying full price as they couldn't get our cards to work. We were taken from one person to the next, nobody could assist. Absolutely terrible service. Why give pensioners the option to pay half price, but then make it so difficult for them to buy tickets?? Is the 50% off just a scam??? Shame on you Ster Kinekor!
We watched a truly spectacular 3D movie in the Premier theatre with luxurious, wide seats that extended out with a foot rest. What an incredible experience!
Customer service and willingness to help gets less as it gets later, and did you know that no matter what size popcorn you send a fortune on you're getting half a bag, to the outside line....wow, talk about false advertising...but I was today years old when I discovered this.
The guys are Very Helpful at the check in screens; The 3D cinema has Epic seating; The 2D cinema is comfy seating too; Thanks Ster Kinekor Cresta for accommodating us!
Service tops. My son and I did not know how to get our tickets with the new contactless systems in place, the lady behind the refreshments counter assisted us gladly. 5 stars to them absolutely.
Unfortunately the Prestige experience is not what it used to be. Menu options extremely limited, concierge seems like he'd rather be somewhere else couldn't even offer up a smile. Rather go to IMax, it's better value. Atleast there you get what you pay for.
Great experience - the cinema was clean, the chairs were comfy, and the audio was fantastic. Ster has really upped their game and watching a movie at their Cresta theatre was a real pleasure.
