Studio Talk introduces a new concept in teaching English, in a fun, sophisticated and interactive way. It is especially designed for our ‘expat community’, to offer them a service whereby they can improve their level of English competence in the security and lifestyle comfort of Dainfern Golf Estate. . The tutoring goes beyond teaching English only; we also want to acclimatize the Expat community in Johannesburg in all aspects: Security, Shopping, Services, life-style etc. While learning English you will learn how to get the best of Johannesburg and South Africa which will be asset for you and your family.
We offer a variety of innovative lessons for three groups of learners:
Ex-pat ladies--morning group sessions,
The ladies’ group sessions are primarily designed for our ex-pat ladies, for developing conversational confidence in a social, interactive and relaxed environment. It will also offer International woman opportunities for social networking.
Individual lessons: for ESL students and local students needing to improve specific areas of English
business English development for business people in the corporate environment.
We will offer periodic outings and events that are relevant to our South African lifestyle and culture, and around the interests of our International community. The purpose of these special occasions will be to encourage the ladies to practice speaking English, using conventions learnt in the group sessions, in practical and stimulating ways. At the same time will promote interaction and most important have fun..
The studio is situated in the tranquil and picturesque setting of the Dainfern Golf Estate, on a private property. It offers a convenient and professional tutoring service, in a relaxed and sophisticated environment. Our team of experienced and qualified teachers, tutors and facilitators will design lessons around our learner’s specific needs and goals. The focus will be on enjoyment and practical application, which will accelerate the learning process naturally and with ease. Our studio will be social and relaxed, as well as sophisticated and educational. We want to give our local ex-pat community a home-from-home experience, where they feel comfortable and encouraged to socialise with other foreigners who have the same goal; to develop confidence in speaking English. Our aim is to make learning English fun and uninhibited.
