Experience with Fourways development… Besides that the properties are smaller than their advertising video impressions… They use the cheapest materials they can find. I cannot recount how many snags one is still raising. The walls are breaking, had low water pressure for months and they blamed COJ, toilet cisterns had to be replaced, our gardens were over flooding- into the houses for some owners, oven hoods falling off for the 3rd time, walls were skew, some are cracking a year later and we’re told it’s normal for all new houses. It’s more than a year and we’ve bought properties before none of these issues were permanent Myself and owners in the complex have never experienced the joy of a new house with Craft Homes, it felt like we bought properties to flip! Their nonchalance to our issues are unbelievable. Our toilets are leaking and we’re told by Body Corporate that Craft Homes says their budget for our complex is done, I had to pay own plumber. My advise is try a different developer, they’re building more complexes in the area, I pity the heartache those buyers are going to experience. Don’t be lured by their pricing, you will pay a higher mental price After posting this review I got a genetic reply non of my complaints are addressed yet. I was sent an email that my snags were fixed and I responded with pictures that nothing has been done! And the house is cracking in new places!
I would just like to leave a compliment for Dale Heyns; one of the Craft Homes Sales Executives. His professionalism is outstanding and he is always willing to go the extra mile. He is extremely patient, and very pleasant - I've thoroughly enjoyed every engagement with him.
I just want to rate our experience with Paul Chileya the sales executive from Craft Homes regarding the the Willow Grove development in Wilgeheuwel. It’s been a wonderful bliss dealing with him right from the reservation of the unit to the processing of the paperwork, thanks to him for his high level of professionalism and patience dealing with the client. We are hoping for the best upon completion of the development.

I, unfortunately, have to select a star to give a review but they don't even deserve a 1 star. I am very surprised to see people giving Craft Homes 5 star reviews. They just want money and don't deliver on quality. There's more and more developments popping up and best believe once they move onto the next development, they not coming back to yours, should you have any issues. We purchased in their development in Craigavon and occupied last year in Oct. Over a year later and our snags have not been attended to. The snags that were attended to had to be done multiple times to get the job done properly. The contractor was basically living in our house for the past year. The materials used to build the properties are of poor quality. The boundary walls could be kicked down by a kid. Towel holders in bathrooms have fallen out due to cheap plaster used. More than one tile cracked while moving in. The properties are built with no consideration to weather conditions, there's no drainage or piping for rainy conditions. Don't be fooled by the artist's impression when deciding to purchase. Attached photos flagged as a snag at the time of occupation and apparently fixed. Nearly a year later and we now have black mould growing posing a health issue with no response or sense of urgency.
So much issues with the house. 1. We were promised to move in March 2022, then the date was moved to April and eventually we moved in May- the reason that was given building wasnt done 2. With heavy rains the roof started leaking, we are currently living at Willow Creek for 7 months and already our geyser gave in and 3. We had to move out for a week, because apprently the stairs wasn't according to standard so they had to repair it. Makes me question how they do their quality checks and only when there is trouble action is taken 4. The feedback back on issues raised with this company Craft homes was either dismissive or feedback was given.
My issue below hasn’t been resolved as at end of June 2023 after I sent communication in February 2023.They are still withholding my money. Attempted to buy property from these guys. The occupation date was supposed to be October 2022 and they kept on postponing it till June 2023 as it stands. During this period,I paid close to R50K for deposit and extras. Circumstances changed and realised that I actually don’t afford the apartment. Because the development was far from being done, I told Jackieagent that I can’t afford the bond and therefore can’t continue. She said she is not the seller nor the developer and therefore can’t help me,Mind that she sold to me. Now they are telling me that I can’t cancel the bond on my own .LOL. They want commission fees and lawyers fees. Mind that they are still hold ing the 50K. The guys don’t care and they will do everything in their power to take your money. The guys don’t care, my advice is that do your research about them. Read reviews on Google it will save your lifeand then take it from there, and ohhh make sure you have a lawyer because you are definitely going to need it. This is my friendly view about the company and therefore it is very fair if I share the experience with masses.
