The atmosphere here is amazing, walking in feels like you instantly leave your problems at the gate and enjoy nature in the garden. Don't get me started on the food absolutely amazing the steak is great the fries? Yes gimme more also the wings and that sauce absolutely out of this world awesome. I always go for the same drink a berry crusher and it honestly tastes great everytime. The service is also good but sometimes the employees don't take notice when you walk in. Cozy coffee shop and restaurant with excellent food. Peaceful garden outside, sunny and cozy sunroom area inside, perfect for any season. Wonderful people. One of the best coffee shops in South Africa.

This is a little gem in the suburbs of Polokwane. Food is great, service is a bit slow if you are used to Johannesburg speed but all round definitely a place I will go to again and again.Food: 5/5

Such a great place to celebrate a mother turning 50 years old. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. I love how the garden and restaurant melts together and is very well maintained. Great experience!

Was referred to Sugar Cube by a friend. We were 5 people from the office. Arrived at 12 and a friendly waiter showed us to a table of our choice. We ordered drinks an warn the waiter that we have a time constrain. Immediately ordered our food. We never saw the waiter again. After 45 minutes we enquire inside about the food. The waiter promised to go and ask. After 10 minutes more we asked to bring 1 guy's food at least because he must leave for a meeting. At 1 o'clock that guy asked for his food in a take away because he have to leave. After 10 minutes he received it and left. One person from the table received his food. We wait another 10 minutes for the rest of the food. Pepper sauce was ordered and we received a pepper mill. At 2 o'clock we had to asked for some more drinks. The food was nicely prepared and really tasty but the rest left us with a bad taste in the mouth. This was so sad that good food was wasted.

Hidden little gem in Polokwane. I ordered quiche... at other places you get a slice.. not here... you get a whole quiche... the size of a good size side plate...stunning. and ginger beer!!!! Good service. Thanks will surely be back to try the other offerings.

The Sugar Cube serves the best Quiches and Iced-tea.
