I bought a chocolate cake on 25 June - the date on the cake shows 29/06/23 - the driest, most unappetising cake I have ever tasted!! I even asked the lady in the shop if the cake is moist - as a chocolate cake should be - and she said it's the best around, I won't be disappointed! Well, it was the worst and WILL NOT be buying ANYTHING from them again!

I placed an order with Lona at 9pm for the following day for a celebration at our Scouts Group. The cake was amazing and well enjoyed by all. The detail on the cake was phenomenal. Well done to the team at House of Cake Suga N Spice.
Went in today to get a cake for my son's birthday, with my 15yr old daughter, 10yr old son and my baby boy who is 3 and a half years old. My baby saw cake topping n decided he wanted it so I said no. He then came n slightly hit the covering of 1 of the cup cakes. The lady there kept watching him firstly with the cake toppings in his hand n though I told him not to do that ,she comes n reprimands a 3yr old. She then pulled the cake toppings from his hand and that's when I lost it. We were walking out I turned back n told her she's got a stinking attitude she said my baby has no discipline. A 3yr old will know very well about discipline???? I'm sure. Her service furst of all was pathetic never greeted us, watched us as if we were going to steal a cake n insult my baby. My daughter turned around and said he's a baby. She then said my daughter is rude, I walked back in n told her yes she will be rude with your pathetuc behaviour n walked out. Never again will I go there or order from them. The cake tastes like **** as well. I have been ordering from them since 2015 for all 3 of y kids birthdays n never again. I will not deal with pathetic customer services and a woman with no smile at all n watching us as if we are going to take some. And pull the cake toppings from my baby's hand.
Friendly service, lovely cakes, but bad follow up. Tried to order a cake for my brothers wedding and never heard back from them so decided to go elsewhere.
