I have known this store for 50 years. It consistently supplies the best products and phenomenal service. I celebrate their contribution and service to our economy and communities
I don't know how many times I've seen this shop and just drove by because I thought all they sold was fireworks. Embarrassimo! Embarrazzing! But today, my mom was looking for an antique bone china tea set and we ended up here. They do have a couple crockery items spoon rests, tea cups, saucers, bowls etc but nothing quite like what we were looking for. To my surprise though... I was actually taken aback because this was a really wonderful discovery. They have the widest assortment of soy sauces I've ever seen. From the usual Kikkoman brand to other not so well known brands. I saw the widest variety of noodles ever and mushroom dumplings and fermented red rice didn't know such even existed and rice vinegars and and and... I didn't see any sake though. Bummer but whatever... And the prices... You really could come out with some lovely stuff at a reasonable price. So anyway... if you love Chinese cuisine this is a really lovely place to visit.

Incredible hard to find Chinese ingredients at phenomenal prices. Noodles, teas, incense, frozen stuff, rice, tofu, seame oil, hoison, fu chi and lots more. An essential part of Johannesburgs historic chinatown.

One of the oldest Chinese grocery stores. Lots of Chinese produce for sale at reasonable price. Always my first port of call for my Chinese groceries.
