It's big with enough walk space, no bumping. You can find anything you need here at very affordable prices. Even at the pay points the row moves fast. It's also very clean and neat inside. Lots of parking space with security. In-store ATM available for convenience. Helpful staff everywhere ready to assist if you need help.
Placed an order of R5000 for delivery that was dispatched from Makro Vaal. Unable to track the order and it has still not arrived. Also can't get help on the helpline, it just stays on hold for almost an hour.
My husband and I went TV shopping on Saturday. We were upgrading our smart TV and needed someone knowledgeable to talk us through features, etc. We got just that and more from our sales assistant at Makro who went the extra mile by providing us with useful tips on which apps to install and how to make the most of our new TV. Once we has selected a TV the sales process was quick and efficient.
Always Always check the prices as what's on the shelves is not what it scans at the tills and some staff when questioned about prices will be downright disrespectful to customers
Closing at 17:30 on a day compared or even similar to a summer day where it gets dark late, was disappointing as I had to be an impulsive chooser of items and forgetting the ones which were my reason of visiting the store.. Besides the time constraints then I would say I could recommend Makro to anyone
Best for your groceries and as specially when you buy in bulk. You can also get electrical appliance of all sorts. Even for the campers its very convenient for you

Still waiting for goods to be delivered 4 days later . Service centre on answer after 9 minutes and 7 minutes a wast of time just a warning to klerksdorp people
You have more staff standing around socialising in 'little groups' throughout Makro. The one's packing the shelves are more helpful than the social groups. No wonder things are so expensive, we're paying for excess of staff being paid monthly to stand and chit chat the whole day. You battle to pass some isles because there are 3 or 4 staff members standing socialising by an overloaded trolley to be packed.
