I was very impressed at the bike experts working here. My son got fitted for his helmet and valuable insights into the benefits and drawbacks of various jackets and cargo boxes. Purchasing a bike was easy and it was delivered seamlessly with a license.
Dealt with Jason as he was my first point of contact. I’m a very impatient excited for something to realise person by nature, but he was honest in his communication since day one and set realistic expectations. He made the process much easier than one would expect. Had the opportunity to work with Robyn as well, and she just continued where Jason left off in terms of fantastic customer service. To end it off, Steven I believe he is the Manager, came to deliver my bike personally. As expected, he met me with a smile although having to sit in the load shedding traffic and made the handover seamless and enjoyable. Thanks all, what a great experience.
I just bought a DR650 , and it was an absolute pleasure doing Business with Suzuki South , Stephan Louw was straight forward and chilled , no smoke and mirrors , very helpful and gave great service
Cool service and expertise
After getting my bike back from Suzuki South for repairs, my oil wasnt replaced, my oil filter wasnt replaced as well as my front break pads all of which I was charged for, also on the book in sheet I said they need to weld a hole in my exhaust which wasnt done, even when they called me to say bikes ready I asked them about it they said they would see to it but didn't, when I query why it wasn't done I was answered with excuses and was told I'd be gotten back to with regards to this but I have heard nothing, very dissapointed, granted they did get my bike running nicely there was an issue with my carb but am dissapointed in the fact that I now have to replace the oil, filters and break pads myself
Fantastic service from Shafiek Isaacs at Suzuki South. Phoned him and he sourced the battery and we collected it 15 minutes before closing time. And the battery was very well priced. And the service came with a smile which was free. I have a feeling they will see me again if I source another bike!
Edited: Downgraded to one star. Had issues with bike. Information wasn't disclosed about motorcyle. Sent bike back for warranty repairs. Came back with new issues and scratches. Sending bike to a independed workshop. Sent mail to manager and no response yet. Lost all faith in their workshop. Just want to thank Suzuki South and Jason for the great service. Super helpful and friendly. Will recommend anytime.
Was charged roughly R1000 for a diagnostic fee I never agreed to. They performed a diagnostic without my informed consent. Paid roughly R1600 and they did no work on my bike. Awful communication, rude and hostile customer service. I will never use them again.
I'm not so sure about the new layout. The old gear shop felt a lot more professional especially being separate from the bikes and parts. The bike floor is clean neat and professional and works well for bike sales. However I don't think your gear laid out across the whole space works for selling gear to someone who now has to navigate between bikes.
Phoned to ask for a price for a part. Get the typical cape town bs. Just keeps me hanging on wasting my airtime while he's dealing with something else. instead of I'm busy I'll call you back, or can you call back in 5. When I do call back has the Gaul to tell me I must get more airtime. Very poor salesmanship. I'll take my business elsewhere.
