Tambarina Komatipoort

We heard from friends about this restaurant but I went online to check out the photos of the place and it didn't look promising but I'm so thankful we tried it anyway! Wow!!! It exceeded all expectations! Food was amazing and so was the service. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.Food: 5/5

We had a wonderful meal at Tambarina last night. We had 2 x seafood combos @ R398 each. It included 1 x full hake, a bowl of muscles in creamy garlic sauce, calamari strips, squid heads & 4 prawns. Served with half chips & half salad. What a feast. Great service & great food.

We always come to eat at Tambarina when we come to the Kruger, and it never disappoints. The prawn curry is always good, we also had the calamari, sole and chicken schnitzel last time which was a large portion. They were all good! Rooms: 1/5

The service was terrible. Booked a table the day before and when we got there our supposed table was given to someone else who had made a reservation after us. The food was atrocious. The seafood tasted like it was bought frozen and over boiled. The manager/owner didn't care and the waitresses were rude. Really sad because we had such big expectations knowing how good it was the last time.

Very nice restaurant in nice surroundings. Food was delicious the prawns and steak portugal were very nice. Loved the people who worked there SBO, Yolanda and other girls. Thank you for the good service and kindness.Hope to come back soon.

Good parts; nice atmosphere & gardens , food was fine , oysters were good Not so good; Food wasn’t that special, service was slow and haphazard and price was high; R700 for salad , 6 prawns & calamari , 6 oysters , coke & cider including tip Ocean basket would have been better for less.

Was worth the visit. Could not fault anything .Beautiful venue , super service and absolutely tasty food Food & drinks: The best food I had in a restaurant for many years . Worth every cent

Had a wonderful lazy lunch. The 6 Queen prawn and deep fried calamari combo was tasty, succulent and very well prepared. Be prepared to dive into this dish using your fingers. Wash down with a chilled Rose or Savingon Blanc......can't go wrong!!!!! Food & drinks: Really good menu with sufficient variety
