Absolutely horrendous! The nurses are Rude and forget they're female as well. They have no manners as women. I was there for literally 20 minutes to be treated for sudden High blood pressure before I called my family and asked them to please take me home because the condition of the hospital and the pathetic staff and nurses were making me feel worse. My blood pressure literally went down after leaving that miserable hospital. I hope government revamp the place and recruit staff that are actually empathetic. But that might be asking a lot from our government, wouldn't it?!
My mother and I went to Tambo hospital for the very 1st time and we were told to go to the gateway and they’ll assist us with opening a file for my mom, there’s this Muslim doctor or should I say Indian , he was way too understanding and helpful , very quick, I gotta give him a thumbs up, then a white lady dr as well is so kind, the only thing from the gateway that is slow I would say is opening a file. There’s line slow lady there. We went for the 2nd time for a check up and it was not at the gateway, damn the experience was bad, people get there by 8am and are only assisted by 4pm, some even leave before they’re assisted, that was very disappointing !!
I absolutely dread to come here at any time , I came yesterday and the security guards refuse for you to park in the parking, if you want to park you need to buy them something, even inside , if you want to know where to go or permission to do anything you need to buy them chips or give money , it's absolutely revolting. And the attitudes of majority of the workers , sis . I absolutely fear for anyone who comes to this hospital
Rudeness is not even a word to describe. No matter how friendly the patients are. Biggest question... How can a Hospital have business hours? Closed on weekends? It's supposed to be available 24/7. I pray new reliable staff wll be employed .
I was admitted on 26 June 2022 at Thambo Memorial Hosp in Boksburg. I was discharged on 1 July and I couldn't recognise my fiance. The Dr in ward 18 is useless, arrogant. After I was discharged I couldn't walk properly. Up to today 18 Sept 2022 I'm still sick and I couldn't walk properly
My sister-in -law was taken into this hospital having fallen and dislocated her elbow. she is 94 and blind so I was terrified about how she would cope. The doctors were amazing, they kept phoning to let us know the situation and what had been done. The nursing staff at warrd 5 were so good ànd spent a lot of time caring for her.Casualty doctors and staff were very good. Such a pity that money is not spent on this hospital which is very old and delapidated.
Their visiting hours or should I say hour is pathetic. 14-00 - 15: 00 just one hour daily and 1 person at a time. So when you are employed it means you cannot see your loved one.and on a weekend 1 hour is just not enough for every family member. Can visiting hours be increased to 2 hours atleast. Pathetic.... parhetic
Our emergency situation was well received, promptly and sympathetically attended to. Everyone knew what they were doing, from the securities, administrators, nurses, doctors.... I Thank them and really appreciate their dedication. Keep it up!
Why is that patient files are never kept in an orderly manner ? How many times must people pay for a file because the one opened before has gone missing? Can the hospital please develop a better system of keeping patient files.
Very bad experience. The fact that they can leave a 1 month old baby full blood and bruises is unexeptable. They will never see me or my child again.
