Security guard says there is no parking, but I can come in if I give him money? like really in 2023 in a public hospital? what am I paying for? if I can see empty parking spaces. Even when I was leaving he has the nerve to remind me that I owe him. The hospital needs to change that security company, this cant be normal.
Disgusting, filthy, unfixed plumbing leaving the place smelling like a dirty toilet. Unhelpful nurses who can only speak at the top of their voices. My dad passed here because nobody bothers really. From the doctors, to specialists to nurses, nobody cared enough.
I had eye surgery on Wednesday the doctor booked me off for the following day after the second day of being absent THE DAY I HAD TO RETURN TO WORKI still couldn't see so I went back the day I had to be at work they lost my file in a question of 2days I had to run up and down to look for my file and could not see the doctor sitting on the side walk with no achievement after wasting my day where I could've earned a salary at work today I have my own car to drive witch I couldn't drive because I'm half blind and had to pay to get transported there and back I won't recommend anyone to this hospital they are full of lazy people I can really write a book about this place the lady that's working by the gateway counter is very rude and acts like a coward towards the people they treat people with disabilities poorly please God help the sick people in that hospital because there's plenty people STAFF NOT CARING
I have no comment for this hospital as I have a lot to say rubbish dirty have to bring your own bedding shame on the government all they good is for stealing our tax money.
Absolutely horrendous! The nurses are Rude and forget they're female as well. They have no manners as women. I was there for literally 20 minutes to be treated for sudden High blood pressure before I called my family and asked them to please take me home because the condition of the hospital and the pathetic staff and nurses were making me feel worse. My blood pressure literally went down after leaving that miserable hospital. I hope government revamp the place and recruit staff that are actually empathetic. But that might be asking a lot from our government, wouldn't it?!
My mother and I went to Tambo hospital for the very 1st time and we were told to go to the gateway and they’ll assist us with opening a file for my mom, there’s this Muslim doctor or should I say Indian , he was way too understanding and helpful , very quick, I gotta give him a thumbs up, then a white lady dr as well is so kind, the only thing from the gateway that is slow I would say is opening a file. There’s line slow lady there. We went for the 2nd time for a check up and it was not at the gateway, damn the experience was bad, people get there by 8am and are only assisted by 4pm, some even leave before they’re assisted, that was very disappointing !!
People just stay away from this hospital especially pregnant ladies, if you want to walk out with your baby alive just stay away from this hospital, even when your baby is sick, stay away from this hospital, God in heaven do not allow this People to treat babies with cruelty like that , Babies don't know anything, Burn them with another gas tanker if you have to but do not allow them to mistreat your babies in Ward 4 it's not right
As government hospitals go,it is fine.helpful and friendly at the dental clinic. Good service. Even the toilets are clean and have toilet paper. Volunteers come round with sandwiches and something to drink for free. Clean waiting areas with enough seating. Parking area outside hospital in enclosed space. Large tuck shop on the grounds. Security at entrance. A bit of distance from surrounding areas if you need to go to hospital, situated on outskirts of Boksburg, along Railway rd. However, enough public transport waiting outside. One can never satisfy everybody in such a huge place. However I have noticed people handled with respect and very little rudeness. I did notice something...the very senior sister, should 've a matron with all the bars on her shoulders, was cleaning out the waste bins and putting clean plastic bags in...shouldn't she be rather kept busy with running departments, wards, or hospital administration. ? Just wondering why a highly paid employee emptied waste bins. 2/2/2019 My son was taken on emergency to OR Tambo hospital this weekend. Excellent quick attention to what could have been a terrible fatality. Tests was done quickly and course of action taken. The wards were very neat and clean with enough bedding, bell nearby, helpful attentive nursing staff. The wards are locked at night with a security guard present for safety of patients and staff. Toilets are clean and has water and toilet paper. All together an empathetic environment which is helpful and reduced stress and anxiety in difficult situations. Well done to all the staff and ambulance people. They do the best they can with the resources at hand.
Rudeness is not even a word to describe. No matter how friendly the patients are. Biggest question... How can a Hospital have business hours? Closed on weekends? It's supposed to be available 24/7. I pray new reliable staff wll be employed .
I absolutely dread to come here at any time , I came yesterday and the security guards refuse for you to park in the parking, if you want to park you need to buy them something, even inside , if you want to know where to go or permission to do anything you need to buy them chips or give money , it's absolutely revolting. And the attitudes of majority of the workers , sis . I absolutely fear for anyone who comes to this hospital
