So worth the visit.. amazing sourdough burger, best fries and just lovely relaxing time. Don't be in a rush, just order and enjoy! . Love the local art from Annie the chef, owner and artist.
Tasha’s is an incredibly special, hidden away gem on the Vaal. Annie owner, chef makes everything from scratch and is accommodating to the point of running out to get extra ingredients for bespoke orders. Annie made us an unbelievable 3 egg omelette with potatoes, veggies, sauces; everything. We then accepted her offer to make us an off-menu quiche from scratch, all of which we ate on her idyllic cottage porch overlooking a beautifully overgrown garden. A must visit while staying at the Vaal, passing through, or even simply just worth a drive from joburg
Really great cakes! We thoroughly enjoyed the cheese cake, the carrot cake, apple-pie and the chocolate cake - thank you Annie!!
My first time going to Tasha's today. It definitely won't be the last. Food was amazing. Sitting at the table on the patio overlooking at her tranquil gardens felt like I had stepped into paradise. Ambiance at its best. Everyone should visit this little gem in Deneysville.
An absolute delight! Wonderful chocolate cake and coffee with great service. The hostess/chef is engaging. Visit if you are looking for great food in a peaceful environment. Take time to relax here and listen to the quiet.
Not sure how the food is as we couldn't eat there due to a power outage. The accommodation has a lot of potential and the owner was very nice, but there was black mould everywhere and holes in the ceiling where the water was seeping in. A little maintenance could go a long way
What a little gem! Very unassuming little garden restaurant with the most delicious food at reasonable prices! The chicken mayo toasted sarmie was amazing. The french toast breakfast and the poached eggs too! We will definitely be back. NOTE: This used to be called Tasha's on Main, but has moved now and had a name change.
Apart from being a beautiful venue, the food here is personally cooked by the owner Annie and you can taste the love and care in each bite. Don't expect to be in and out, the food takes time to cook so relax and unwind- it's worth it!
Took a nice ride out to Deneysville this morning. Only to find them closed. What a surprise when Annie invited us in and made us a cuppa and sat and had a friendly chat felt so at home. Will definitely be back soon
Recommended by some locals, we visited earlier this morning. The place was unmanned when we arrived at around 08:30... Maybe they open later... No signs to indicate times of operation. Greeted by the cats and dogs, but no humans around...
