Just Teddy provides a unique and high quality tea experience. We stopped by for coffee and cake . The waitrons are professional, efficient and friendly. The seating was comfortable. The gold cappuccinos were a real treat and the cakes were tasty. Everything was beautifully presented and almost looked too good to eat. I can highly recommend Just Teddy for a delicious and chic patisserie experience.
If you’re looking for a place that pays attention to every little detail, this is the place to be! Ladies will certainly feel like they’re in wonderland. So many baked goods to choose from that melt in your mouth. They were so accommodating that they made provision for my friends halal requirements. Definitely made me forget I’m in South Africa for a while.
It's very pretty and well-located. The servers were attentive and the owners kept checking in on us - very friendly. Their food, however, left a lot to be desired. I got a modified French toast, which was light and fluffy but they the bananas were unripe and I sent them back. My sister ordered the chicken burger and loved it so much she ordered it again. My other sister hated the prawn and chorizo pasta - the prawns were weirdly hard - you couldn't even cut through them! My sister got a waffle that was so hard and crunchy it was like a biscuit. Impossible to cut into and unlike anything I've ever seen. The owners were great about not charging us for the pasta, the waffle and the French toast - even though we were willing to pay for the French toast. They gave me a free sesame biscuit and chamomile tea to apologise and I must say, both were tasty and the presentation was unique with the hourglass steeping timer. Nice touch. Won't be going back to eat but I hear the cakes and deserts are good - maybe meals aren't their area of expertise.
Just wow! Warm and friendly greeting by the hostess that went out of her way to find me a table. The entire waiting staff works great as a team to make sure you’re never neglected no matter how busy it gets. Surprisingly well priced and superb quality. It’s a delight to watch the food, baked goods etc being served, as every item served is basically art in a cup or on a plate. Very small menu, yet tasty items. Something you can’t find anywhere else. Take-away baked goods and teas make great gifts to spoil friends and relatives with. Great experience overall.
This was our first time at Just Teddy's, and let me tell you it was amazing! Everything we ordered from the cappuccinos, halloumi fries and the chicken and waffles were perfectly balanced and freshly prepared. We even got some pastries to take home which I can't wait to taste!
A great birthday celebration hosted at Just Teddy! The variety of savoury and sweet treats were delicious. I found the staff to be attentive and the birthday girl enjoyed the sparkle cupcake accompanied with the Happy Birthday song. The venue can be accessed by a wheelchair as there are numerous lifts for the respective floors. Pre-booking seems to be necessary due to the popularity of this venue.
If you looking for a fancy location for a lunch date, this is the spot! Beautiful and romantic decor with the pastry display being a scrumptious view! My prawn cocktail was divine and the service was fast. It’s interesting to see the different teas in offer and I enjoyed the rose tea I chose.
Amazing, fresh and tasty food. Nice atmosphere if you go at the right time. Very busy on weekends. Good artisan teas. Would recommend the famous toasted cheese.
beautiful, quaint little spot. drinks were beautiful presented and tapas board was delicious! However, the wait time was extremely long and we had to get up on two separate occasions to get our waitresses attention . would not suggest their mimosa either!
Classy and quaint boutique-styled restaurant in Hyde Park Corner. You almost forget you're in the middle of a shopping centre, amidst the beautiful tree decor, velvet chairs and stunning bakery window displays. The food is scrumptious, with a wide variety and interesting new flavours. The patisserie and bakery is a feast for the eyes and the stomach and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. There are some great gluten-free options on the menu and in the bakery, including almond and oat milk. Something is always keep an eye out for. The presentation was also exquisite, right down to the golden cutlery! Overall, an amazing experience. Great for dates, events, hangouts with friends or just to treat yourself to a great time with good food.
