Temba Travel - Upington Country Lodge

Our accommodation was perfect. The swimming pool was clean and gave us a well earned cooldown after a hot day in the Upington sun. The owners are really friendly and one can see they manage this Lodge very well. They care for their clients and always want to know if the stay is comfortable and as expected. Well done to the owners and people managing the Lodge!! Rooms: Clean, practical and everything in very good working condition. We did a braai and we were able to find everything we need. Nice cool room with the new solar system assisting here. Safety: Quiet area with high wall and electric fencing. I feel totally relaxed and safe here.

We loved the warm welcome and excellent service! The manageress is a beautiful person and she went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Everything was neat tidy and of good standard. To top it off the place is pretty inside and out. I will recommend anyone to stay here... The cost was also very acceptable vs what you get. Good value! Keep it up

Stunning premises with beautiful facilities and rooms. Service is great and on time and the pool is refreshing. Great braai facilities with very peacuful resting places all over the facility. Only thing I'm not impressed with is the animals being kept in small cages and hardly let out. Only when there are very little guests around are they let out for a little free roaming. This includes a beautiful cat and 3 rabbits.

The team at Country Lodge went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and assisted in so many ways in getting our return trip as smooth as possible. Clean, quirky, good food and a restful ambience

Very comfortable room & friendly receptionist. Some suggestions - a table in the bathroom for washbag & clothes, a towel rail/ring/hook by the basin & bedside lights. Very urgent attention needed - please find a much much much bigger space for your birds especially the pheasants they have done nothing wrong & don't deserve to be imprisoned. Great place but that brought a lot of sadness to me!!

review Country Lodge Upington This place is beyond what you would expect. I searched up for lodges to stay in overnight on our way to Upington. We were returning back home with our motor home. I happened to find ‘Country Lodge’s’ number and I immediately called to see for accomodations, even though it was late in the evening, Mrs Nicolene answered and was extremely friendly and helpful. Our motor home could not fit in the parking allotted to each room but the kind gentleman made a plan and allowed us to park elsewhere. We only booked one chalet for a couple, but when they seen our granny, they immediately offered us another room for her comfort. They were very caring and thoughtful! Their hospitality was excellent, the rooms were clean and tidy, and decorated beautifully! One room had a mini kitchen which was very useful. The bathrooms were a very comfortable size and were kept clean. The room had a air conditioner which we used as a heater. It kept us warm and cozy throughout the night and we had an amazing sleep. After a long and tiring journey, Country Lodge Upington really catered to our needs and made us feel welcome and extremely comfortable. When the morning came, the fresh air and beautiful gardens were so beautiful and we were fully energized to continue with our trip. All in all, it was a spectacular lodge with excellent service and rooms that catered to our every need.

Place is clean, very well maintained. Staff and management is friendly and helpful. The live music was excellent and beautiful music. Added plus is the butchery and coffee shop next door. Did not even know that the power went off with the generator on the premises.

It's a beautiful place with a wonderful service and a great sense of country environment... You tend to forget you're in a city when you're there... I loved my stay with my partner here
