Decided to have a wash, cut and blow wave.... without an appointment! I was accommodated immediately. Extremely grateful. The staff was friendly. Shireen, the hair stylist was awesome. Although the place was crowded, screens were placed between the clients. How I wish we could go back to the good old days... I certainly missed my cup of coffee.

My wife & daughter had an 9am appointment on Saturday. They were looking forward to having their hair done at Terry Scott However the experience was terrible and extremely disappointing. While the lady was attending to my wife they were continuously being called away to attend to other customers and leaving my wife sitting for long periods without anyone attending to her , When it was brought to my attention I approached Daniel as he was responsible for taking away the lady assisting my wife.He said to me that the ladies are his apprentices and he has his customers to attend to. I said that's unacceptable as that has nothing to-do with my wife as she has an appointment. When I told my wife about the feedback , I was told by the staff and Terry Scott that Daniel doesn't have his own apprentices and laughed. I asked Daniel why he lied and he approached my wife to explain. She tld him its unacceptable as she had an appointment and that the way she being treated is extremely disappointing. I also addressed the matter with Terry Scott who promised that he will address the behavior of Daniel and said to me that Daniel's behavior was unacceptable. Terry Scott has been around for a long time , He has some fantastic staff like Nelly and Jordan that is truly an asset to the salon However people like Daniel who was rude and aggressive and not customer orientated will bring the salon into disrepute. This fringe is what we got for R580 a cut .Terry Scott Hairfashion are the only hairstylists I trust with my hair . I constantly recommend them and have generally been very happy . We drive a far way just to get our hair styled . As a birthday spoil my mother and I booked at the salon at la Lucia mall . We were absolutely shocked by the general behaivour of the staff . Naturally a salon is not going to be a quiet place which is understandable especially on a Friday when there is a buzz In the air . Naturally we wouldn't mind jovial staff however the level of shouting and screaming in the salon by the staff was unacceptable and completely unprofessional . The shouting was constant with staff running a mock ,it genuinely felt like being in a market place . The staffs behaivour made us feel uncomfortable with one staff member even stroking and grabbing the breast of other staff members whilst making inappropriate remarks . One staff member put bubble wrap on the table and was hitting incessantly . They then walked around with the bubble wrap popping it right next to customers . Not sure who was left in charge however the staff were absolutely out of control and nobody was set straight . This would be an embarrassment for any salon owner let alone what is meant to be a top class salon . When my mother said the stylest was burning her the other one laughed and said" she is glad she is not the only one that burns people" . The one hair assistant got up shouting "okay can I just go home now " . My mother was so incredibly upset about her haircut but by this stage we were actually so uncomfortable at the salon and felt rushed out that we paid and left . My mother was then also charged more than what was even initially quoted . We are not generally ones to complain however for the amount spent we really would have actually rather done without this experience . My mother now has to spend even more to go to another salon to try salvage her hair . I'm not sure exactly where Terry Scott has gone ,what I do know is that I would be absolutely appalled to see what staff has done with the reputation in his absence . This was probably the worst salon experience we have ever had. We strongly do not recommend going to Terry Scott LA Lucia. If I could give less than one star for the treatment I would .Service: Hairstyling

Fabrice, the barber is good. The people who are at the front desk need training in customer service and customer interaction. They double booked, and that is not good for both people. As for the rest of the shop, it's loud like a shouting contest. Have seen the standard drop a lot of late. Barber cut and wash is a different price if a hairdresser does the exact same.

UNACCEPTABLE! On the 31st of December 2022, I went in to dye my hair from 9am to 5pm. The picture I showed the stylist is the complete OPPOSITE of what I received. I was treated like a child when I voiced my unhappiness and no consideration to my feelings were taken into account. I told the stylist Nelly & Onele that I was unhappy countless of times yet I remained unheard. I paid R3080 for a job that was atrocious! Furthermore hospitality towards an Indian person was nonexistent, unacceptable and not appreciated compared to that of the white population. I urge Terry Scott to contact me urgently, thank you. Terrible experience at Terry Scott at La Lucia mall. They messed up my hair colour so badly. It was patchy and not even the colour I asked for. Unprofessional behavior by the hair stylists as well. They switched in the middle of doing my balayage hair and thr 2 different techniques is evident in my hair. The stylists also recommended the wrong colour care shampoo and conditioners which did the opposite of what I wanted.

Those people who work there aren't professionals! They ruined my hair, they tried to fix it, but they burn it even more! First photo is what I went for and payed for! Second photo is the quality of my hair when I went there the first time. Third photo is What they had to make to fix my orange look from their first work. Fourth photo is how my hair looks now - burned, dry, fizzy, broken, splitting... I went to make something so pretty, I was there 7 hours! first time, than 4 hours and at the end of the day - I almost don't have hair, it's nothing even closer to what I've payed for and wondering how to fix my hair?!? I will never refer this saloon even if it's the last open on the planet ...

I started going to the salon when they were based long ago on Musgrave, I must have been a mere teen on my 1st appointment. Terry's salon is a real hustle and bustle meaning noisy that being bcoz its very popular as they always have amazing treatment. I especially love the lady who did my hair, Marion, the attention given to my self and my daughter who was prepping for matric dance were excellent. In all of the busy vibes we were still taken care of professionally. I would recommend them as they are excellent.

Had a horrible experience with the lady at the front Bradely I arrived for my appointment only to find out it was canceled by someone else and Bradley accused us that we did it. I don’t think anyone would cancel an appointment and show up. She then did not want to hear a word from us as we tried to explain we wouldn’t do that and simply wasn’t bothered and moved me to another stylist who was lovely After she contacting the client that canceled the appointment and realised she was in the wrong She didn’t even apologise for the mistake she made by canceling my appointment , when confronted on the mistake she said “ I’m sorry you feel that way” Was absolutely disgusted by her attitude and as the first person you interact with in the store it’s very disappointing as the stylists are lovely and welcoming people.Service: Hairstyling
