Texas Spur Steak Ranch

This Spur ranch is worthy of my 5 stars and time writing this review. You will not go wrong visiting Texus Spur Steak Ranch N1. Being greeted by all the waiters at the door was so welcoming. They took special care to look after my 2 boys with breakfast and friendly staff in the play area. What pleases me is the size of this branch. And I wasn't ushered into a cramped up space. My waiter looked for a suitable spot close to the warm kitchen and play area. The condiments were all straight, filled and clean...and full of our favorite Spur sauce. He took our order and despite being busy, the breakfast was warm and ready in under 7minutes. We had a visit from the manager as well who got us wipes on a plate... on a plate... I've had mine hand delivered by other so called 5star establishments so... Half way through the waiter checked up on us which I appreciated. When the boys meals were done, the table looked like I had more that 10 seated and a second manager chuckled and called it a creative statement. I for one, will definitely be back. You made us feel at home. Kid-friendliness: My kids went crazy here. Any place that can handle my kids and make them feel this at home gets my vote.

I went a week back for breakfast. My friend had the breakfast special and ordered a side of onion rings. Which enjoyed quite considerably. The eggs were done nicely and the bacon. I chose a healthier option and got avocado on toast. The toast was a bit too soft and but underwhelming. It hunk a better bread could be used and the presentation could have been better. The service was good and the food came out quickly which was great

My wife and I had the most unpleasant experience at Texas Spur N1 City. I made peace with the fact that it's a Monday and its "Burger Promo" night. But my our steaks came to the table cold. My Wifes steak had to be sent back as it was not made to her preference. When the manager came to bring her steak back, it was just put down on the table, and the manager just walked away. No apology! The waiter Werner was good up until he broke our Spur Loyalty card without notifying us. And when we asked him about it. He just brushed it off by saying we should apply for a new card. And once again, no apology!!! This was by far the worst experience ever encountered at this Spur. And it will be my last time they see me. Terrible! If I could Give 0 stars for Service I would!

I try to visit the Spur when ever I travel to South Africa Cape Town, especially the N1 centre. The service is fantastic and the portion size is amazing.... but the most important fact about this chain is the food is fantastic as it comes .... no need to disguise it with chilli sauce or any other condiment... Is it better than Nando's ...... most definitely. I would however not deviate from the N1... Good luck and enjoy

Took my parents out for breakfast. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was good. Decided to get half waffle as well.

Terrible experience. Food had to be returned thrice becuase it was cold and underdone. Asked our waitress for assistance and she sent us to the manager who then sent us back to the waitress . Even the payment of the bill was an issue, they couldn't even get that right!!!Food: 1/5

The service is okay, they have a big enough smoking area so that's convenient. The food though is very below standard compared to other spurs. I would recommend going to a different location if you can.Food: 2/5

Spur is always a winner when you have kids. The play area is nice and big, I just wish they had a jumping castle too. Food is always consistent. Most of the waiters are good, but there are a few slower ones.Food: 3/5

On busy days you can taste the foods still cold inside especially the chicken as if they have cooked it way ahead of time and only marinade and grill it the minute you order. The only reason we keep returning is the big play area they have for the kids. Kid-friendliness: Big play area for kids

We're do I start went to spur n1 city on Sunday with breakfast with my family.was seated drinks order taken.drinks received well done. But after that is when all the drama started. Waited for my food when we received our meal everything was ice cold even thow there was a manager working the hot pass. Everyone was done eating when received our toast. I did not even eat because I send my food back as I disgusted with my meal asked for tabasco sauce by one two three people one of them being the manager received it directly from a tables behind bottle dirty and not wpied ordered another coffee never revived it cancel my daughter milkshake as we were done eating and received when I wanted to order her a soft drink only to be told by the manager its been made and must have it. Had to get up for serviettes for my daughter to wipe her hands when to 2 waiter stations my self to get serviettes cherry on top is when I walked pass the section were they make the milk shake saw a staff member use his hands to make a milkshake thanks to the manager who offered us a voucher you are more then welcome to keep it. Never ever again
