We have been using The Courier Guy a lot over the past years but this time the service was bad. The parcel product items, I have sent to George more than 5 times and were packed the same every time, bubble wrap, very strong box and even packed other items to keep the contents in the parcel in place and tight. At the Courier Guy I will stick all necessary stickers, Fragile, Breakable, Do not stack, This side up on the box to make sure who ever sees it will take note. But this time they did not take note. The parcel was repacked, and I was not even informed at all on sms or phone call, about this and the repack box they used was a 2nd hand box an the 1 item was not in the box that was repack. When the parcel did arrive in George Gourits it was not even delivered as requested on the waybill at all but dropped off at someone in the that knows my sister. I am very disappointed in how thit was handled. If they broke something, why do they not inform the sender or receiver about this before they repack the items. This Item that we lost did cost me a lot and in the same process a disappointed receiver of the parcel. The photos attach is from the box I packed before taking it to the couriers to stick all stickers and courier it and then the parcel my sister received at the end with 1 missing item.
Absolute chaos. Urgent overnight delivery. Phoned Npt branch 7 seven times. No reply. Left message with my contact detail. No response. Desperate, I drove the 137 Km''s to depot. Shared waiting area with 8 other customers for 73 minutes. Phone rang 4 times. Front desk lady just left it ringing. She took tracking numbers from 4 customers ahead of me, disappeared to the back, arrived at a guess on average 10+ minutes later with some excuse. 2 customers requested to see the manager. Not sure of results. She took my number. Disappeared into the back. Just as I was about to go and seek, she appeared, with my parcel. Asked me to sign but no Id or pin received via e mail and handed parcel over. Latter happened both times I collected parcels from them. Left with one customer I found there still standing against rear wall, shaking his head... Clearly, absolutely no order and complete lack of/incompetent management, confirming previous reviews. I will never use them again. Neither will i purchase goods from any company using them to courier goods. What made it worse is that I had goods delivered from UK a week ago by DHL. Boy, what a difference!
Bongi who collects our parcels from White River for our online business is always on time, goes the extra mile if we have a late order that needs to be couriered! He is always happy, so friendly, remembers our names and takes an interest in what our business is about! He is just fantastic!
The Courier Guy Nelspruit and Head Office I scheduled a collection ONLINE from a supplier in JHB to deliver to Sabie. I added on the collection that the parcel is a box that weighs 20kg and the dimensions. In the special instructions I even added the invoice number. The amount quoted was R190. The delivery I received was 12 boxes that weighed 350kg and was charged R2400. I told the driver that this was not my order, but he proceeded to deliver it and leave it on our steps. After arguing about this via email for weeks with Courier Guy Nelspruit they collected the boxes again and returned it to sender in Jhb and charged my account R2400 AGAIN!!! The first real answer I got was: Good day They are busy with the credit it does take a while for head office.. When I enquired about this today, I received this reply: Good day As per Johannesburg this was an issue from the suppliers side our drivers will note just take parcels on their own they only take what is give to them. I will not stop this fight until my account has been credited. I'm not sure how you can have this description on your page: "We are not your average Courier Company. so many parcels lost i have waited 16 days for 3 parcels and no one has an idea where they are, on top of that they don't answer calls and they marked the parcels as delivered but i haven't received anything till today
I am in total shock and disgusted that the so called men at Nelspruit warehouse would sit on their backsides and allow a women to load 10 x 20l rubber sealent and out right refuse to assist! You are not worthy to be called a man!!
I am always amazed at how quick it is to courier something. I have never waited in a que for longer than 5minutes, and after completing the form and answering some questions you are good to go! Everything entirely hassle free. I have used them to courier from Rusks, PC's, Car Parts and so forth each time my parcel were kept safe and undamaged.
my suggestion would be that the staff empty the pudo lockers much more often, I love the easy accesibility of Pudo but lately it has a lot of issues causing me to return 3 times a day with still no access to a locker. Why not state that when booking a locker? would save me a lot of time!
Phoned 12 times, no answer. Left messages, but they never got back to us. It is now 6 days later and still no response to the messages left on their answering service. So I will just have to make use of another courier service when sending parcels to Nelspruit.
Rest of Courier Nationally absolutely Brilliant. This lot, lose parcels, and attitude Wow! 3 Weeks and waiting, cost me money and shrug it off! 0 rating is what they should get.
