We founded the business on the principle that knowledge and experience of different industries and in-depth knowledge of all the positions that make up the fabric of an organisation, is critical to being able to offer an assessment and HR consulting service to paying clients. It was the founding partners’ commitment to this principle, as well as the importance they attach to providing a service that has integrity and that offers flexibility and options to clients, which motivated us to leave the corporate world and start The Assessment Toolbox in 2007.
Since founding the business Wea van Heerden and Sally Satchel have grown The Assessment Toolbox into one of the biggest and most competitive independently owned assessment companies in South Africa. Our team now consists of 11 permanent staff across 2 offices, with a reliable and competent network of approximately 20 associates right across the country. This enables us to regularly work in all the major centres of South Africa, including neighbouring countries – thereby delivering a seamless service to our clients.
Our dedication to delivering high quality work, coupled with passion for assessments have enabled us to do work with over 280 distinct clients in the last 8 years – these clients are from all sectors of the economy, from engineering and mining to financial services to motor industry. Since 2010, we have significantly expanded our footprint in the public sector. Many of the clients who were our first clients, are still with us and numerous of these relationships are in their 8th year. This proves our ability to be consistent, reliable and do work that meets and exceeds the needs and requirements of clients.
