I was so impressed by The Beauty Spot. It will definitely become my go to nail salon. The service was incredibly good. I’ve been to many nail salons and this is the first one I’ve been to where I didn’t feel like just a number, I really felt pampered and the nail technician really took her time and made sure that I was happy. I did a soak off as well and the nail tech was so careful to not damage my nails. Super impressed. Superb customer service. 10/10 would recommend.Service: Manicure
I have supported this salon for 3 years every month and recently their service and quality of product has decreased significantly! A new owner who clearly doesn’t value long standing customers. My last two treatments were a hassle. I had to go back and get one treatment fixed free of charge which was accommodating, but it’s time consuming & with these services getting it right the first time is key! I was not happy with my most recent treatment, cakey application of the gel polish. I have ALWAYS matched my nail and toenail colours, and the owner whatsapped me to say that they can fix my hands but not toes… so it will be unmatched. When I insisted on having both redone she messaged saying “ We are willing to do your hands free of charge, and that is the best we can do. I am sorry if you do not find this satisfactory” I spent R815 and I am not happy at all. The salon is also extremely hot, no air con… best they have are industrial fans which don’t do much in the joburg heat.

The Beauty spot hosted my Pamper party and they did such an amazing job! I had the pleasure of dealing with Shante and every interaction with her was so professional and organized. My bridal party enjoyed being pampered by the staff and they did such a great job of making us feel welcomed. To Shante and the staff, you guys exceeded all my expectations, from the little details to the beautifully decorated place and yummy treats...we certainly felt special, especially myself. I have been going to the Beauty Spot for 3 years. Great service. Did nails and toes before I went overseas in November. Lasted 2 months. Obviously a little grown out but lasted well. Also depends on the colour you choose. Lighter colours last longer. Girls all great and friendly. Well done ladies.
Fantastic salon. Lovely service from the receptionists to the nail technitians. The team is gentle and patient with my requests. The Fourways based salon is also well positioned near a car wash, so I'm able kill two birds with one stone. I love it!
The quality of product and service has seriously deteriorated. Went for a gel mani pedi, the technician mixed up the colours that I choose and got annoyed when I told her. The gel started peeling off the next day. I called to complain and the receptionist said they would fix it free of charge. I went back two day’s later and the receptionist informed me that it was not their fault. She was very condescending. The receptionist during the initial appointment was extremely rude, she did not even greet me. I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment. Very disappointing, will not be going back!

The ladies talked A LOT to each other. Definitely not a place to go too if you want quiet pampering. The pedicure wasn't great and the lady was constantly stopping to converse with other staff and never noticed me flinching or being uncomfortable. Won't be back.
