The Bend Store, Northern Cape, South Africa

Came to Bend from out of town and had a great experience at the bend store! Bought a few items that were incorrect sizing upon trying them on, and the store was very happy to process an in store exchange. Upon leaving the area, we noticed we needed another exchange for one of the other items. I reached out through their website and they were so gracious to help in exchanging the item and getting a label to send it back within a day of contacting them. They are really thoughtful in their customer contact and made it super easy in the exchange process. Thank you!!!

So many amazing items here. Everything was fairly priced. Super cute store! I looked EVERYWHERE we went in Bend looking for a magnet with the bend logo and after 2 days this is the ONLY place that had them! May have had new staff, both checkers were nice but when I checked out the previous order was not cleared and I was almost overcharged by $38 and the guy my Niece checked out with forgot to ring up some of her items and had to do 2 transactions. Neither are biggies

Super strict exchange policy even with Christmas time. Bought a gift at beginning of December, the gift doesn’t work, it’s art. Perfect condition. Item still in store. Store wouldn’t give us store credit or let us exchange for something else. How does this hurt their business at all other than not satisfying a frequent customer? If anything, they lost money because I was planning on putting the credit towards a more expensive item and paying for the difference. Disappointed. Not what I expect from locally run store. Updated- Bend store, thank you for the quick reply and for extending the offer to exchange our item considering the circumstances.

As a local, we've purchased from this store several times -- for us and visiting friends/family. Nice selection of items and friendly, helpful staff. A recent shipment arrived damaged and The Bend Store went above and beyond to quickly make it right.

Cute shop. I bought a Bend hat, I just wish they had more selection. It seemed there was only one style, but I love my hat! In response to the owners response below... yes I am 100% sure it was your store. My baseball cap is cute and I appreciate it, but there were only a few selections and all similar. Yes there was a variety of different style hats, but all same and similar print.

For those looking for a momento to their trip the the Bend area, this is a great place to stop by. It's right in the middle of the action where there are often events like concerts and car shows as well as a variety of other shops to peruse once you've got your souvenirs. My biggest complaint about this place is actually pretty mild. I saw a lot of excellent designs on sweatshirts, in woman's styles. Honestly would've bought it anyways if it was a full length sweatshirt. Most of the male oriented fashions were pretty basic and as a graphic designer I was a little saddened because I couldn't get my favorites which speaks to the quality of the artwork on the products. The pricing is as you might expect from a souvenir store, moderately pricey if you're a bargain shopper like myself. $45 range for sweaters, which is actually decent for the Bend area, a retirement community with heavy tourist traffic. Overall, I had a great time there, check it out to commemorate memories made around these parts!

I disagree with the last comment about this being a "typical tourist store" and was going to say the opposite! They sell really cool work of local artists and other thoughtfully-selected gifts. But yes, it is the best place to buy a Bend souvenir! The are also carefully following COVID safety protocol.

The BEST place in Bend to go if you want a Central Oregon souvenir- really if you want any kind of gift. Amazing selection. And I literally always find something I want for myself when I'm going in there to get a gift for someone else! Plus, owner Delia is an incredible person.

A typical tourist store in downtown with lots of items emblazoned with the Bend city logo. There are some nice prints from local artist of the iconic mountains but priced too steep for my taste. You may find a nice gift here.
