For every member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a must to visit. Being there is awesome as well as the beautiful well maintained gardens. The view overlooking Rose bank towards Sandton and Midrand including the mall of Africa is breath taking.
It is a peaceful place where you can feel the spirit of God. Impeccably maintained, the atmosphere is different and if you want to commune with the Lord and learn more about Him and the gospel of Jesus Christ, and covenants necessary for salvation and exaltation, this is the place to go. You will be benefited most by preparing spiritually before attending.
For Latter-day Saints this is really our earthly goal. Wow, what a deeply spiritual and meaningful time. It's such a blessing to be amongst such kind, gentle, loving people. We really enjoyed our stay.
The Johannesburg Temple is such a unique place where you can feel whole. It’s a place where you can talk with God and that the grounds offer an excellent place to meditate , ponder and pray. I love to see the temple!
One of the most wonderful place I have ever been. A place where you can feel peace, for from the worries of the world, and where you can connect to the Lord and to your family members, both alive and those who have gone beyond the veil. The first time I was there was in 2004, when I was sealed to my wife to be eternal companions by making a special covenant with the Lord and with my wife through which covenant I was promised the most precious blessings I could ever dream of. It is also a place where you can serve your fellows. I have been blessed to participate in such services during all of my subsequent visits there.
I was very excited to be there today . as it was the last day for this year, I took that opportunity to receive the blessing of the temple today I do testify that I felt the spirit of the lord and it prepared me for tomorrow Sunday.
