The Cockpit Brew House

What better way to use your public holiday, then to do a short road trip.We drove to Cullinan and spent the day.Lunch was at the Cockpit BrewHouse.Food was ok, service slow, and it was a quite day..Guess I need to go back?

Nice beer tasting experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly and could recommend some nice beer. They have good food, we tried the build it yourself basket which included spring rolls, samosas, meatballs, ribs, potato wedges, cocktail sausages, chicken strips, fried haloumi and some sauce. I can definitely recommend the 'fokkof berry weiss'

The place to go for a great time in Cullinan. Situated right at the end of the main road, Cockpit Brewhouse is an excellent pub and brewery, with some incredible beers on tap. Try the Hellcat IPS, it’s a standout! The waiters and staff, and especially assistant manager Mbali, are attentive, friendly, and on-the-ball. They make the experience a great one! The menu has very few vegetarian options, and almost no vegan choices. Looking forward to a new, expanded menu. A must-visit in Cullinan.

Very casual. Only basic menu. No veterinarian choices. Next to Cullinan mine fence in Oak avenue. Not usually crowded. Only good for a quick drink or bite. Nothing fancy. Priced below market.

Great to see they are open for business again. Food was nice, some of the beers on the taster plate was a little old, hope it's just old stock that needs to be cleared

Awesome place, not a good choice for groups... An hour later and not even half of the group is served. A fun day out is now a waiting game...serving expired butter is not helping either...

Great place with a relaxed atmosphere. The craft beer was great, but I didn't eat there.

Well the place is now called ketelkraal and they not registered here for a review yet. Had a day out with the family. Beers and drinks were perfect but the food was a let down. One order was for chicken strips but they sent out chicken wings. Two rump steaks requested as medium rare came out after along wait as overdone. Chef/ manager came out and admitted the steak was a mistake in his own words blaming the waiter for leaving our steak under the warming lights. Did not oglffer a discount or suggest to redo them but asked what we want him to do about it.. Really surely there is a standard protocol for this type of complaint.

The wait staff Tabogo was great. The food a bit disappointing as chips had been re cooked a few times and were cold again and burger bun was rather stale. Why is is always the same 4 beers they cannot offer.

Great festive ambiance. Informal and great place to relax. Great bear tasting choice
