Professional sanding of floors, right up to cupboards, corners and small spaces. Really dustless, very slight dust hardly to be mentioned. Good advice from team not to add stain and I am very pleased with the outcome. Owner Paul is a pleasure to work with and the team was friendly, efficient and did a great job. Looking for reviews on Google for floor sanding to choose a company that has decent customer reviews...I see a bad review mentioning Eddy K and directly below someone called Eddy rating DFC 5 stars? I move on to company website and we have the same Eddy K listed as company contact! Interested if DFS Co thinks its ethical to rate themself 5 stars, personally I think its dodgy and will be moving on. Eddy if you remove your fake review I'll edit this review but for now you get a one for wasting my time!

I recommended Dustless to a good friend who I assisted with a full renovation of her apartment. I have personally sanded floors and have a appreciation for professional finishes. I have also been solely responsible for 15 major up market renovation projects and designed and installed 12 top kitchens . We accepted Dustless quote after Eddy the franchise manager and his wife assured us of a excellent job on site. This small Sea Point flat wooden floors was generally in good shape albeit some replacement of wooden blocks. Eddy agreed to replace and repair then sand the blocks and after his sub contractor finished replacement of the blocks we noticed that many of the blocks had been rushed and badly installed with massive gaps and poor overlapping blocks. We immediately brought it to the attention of his team who popped onto site and replaced the blocks reluctantly and in defence of there skilled workmanship. The floor was finally sanded and sealed and on inspection after the job was complete we noticed that the floor was unevenly sanded in two areas one critical to the meeting of the porcelain tiles and wooden floors.. Having called Eddy and his daughter to site to point out our concerns things got really out of hand. Eddy took one look at the job and blew his top completely accusing us of having an uneven floor to start off with. He had already made up his mind prior to arriving that he was totally not to blame "we had the floor perfectly cemented level and his team placed the blocks on the level floor" Therefore it can only be assumed they ended up creating the problem in the first place something we verbally mentioned which ended up causing Eddy to completely blow his top, stumbling and shouting as he left by stating that we could finish the job ourselves and he doesn't care we can keep the balance of the funds. Eddy's approach after I asked him to calm down was that he had given up smoking 40 cigarettes a day and that he was in a bad mood. We feel he had no tact and respect and as a successful business owner he could have been way more considerate in his approach to our concerns. Simply stomping off like a spoilt boy left us feeling completely let down and helpless. We made a decision to live with the problem as the remedy was to stressful to manage. After my friend called him to explain that we would leave things as is and pay him immediately he still ended up shouting at her and again she needed to remind him to calm down and behave like the professional company they profess to be. If you do use Dustless, be warned the owner Eddy of the Franchise agencies has achieved self confidence to simply fob your concerns off thanks to his success and confidence and won't think twice to stepping over his clients and leaving them in the lurch without the decently to offer a remedy or solution never mind a apology for poor behaviour.
