The Funky Wood Factory

Beautiful craftsmanship. Fair prices. Wonderful hospitality. The shop owner, Bassem, was a delight. Only a few minutes from Church of the Nativity, we felt we had to purchase a hand-crafted, olive wood, nativity set and many other hand-made treasures from Bethlehem. Bassem packaged everything right after we left his shop, sent us an email with tracking info that night, and the package arrived in the US 8 days later in perfect condition. If you are looking for great product at a great price, Blessings is for you.

There are a lot of good store owners in Bethlehem but we found Blessing's Gift Shop and Bethlehem Olive Wood Factory to be a top notch place to visit. The store owner is very passionate about his work, caring for his workers, family, and his guests. We felt extremely welcomed into his store, shop, and onto the rooftop for great views. I think his olive wood work is excellent with extremely fair prices. We had items shipped home to USA and our package arrived in excellent condition with everything we purchased. If you are near the Church of Nativity than it's worth a short walk to visit this shop.

This is an amazing shop. The works get are incredible, just like the people who run it! Our group came here because they saw someone creating olive wood statues. On coming in, the person working here offered to show us around the workshop. We would have loved to if we didn't have to leave! The worker also gave me a few free rosary beads to fix a rosary of mine with. I would give them an extra star if I could! Cannot recommend enough!

They are very friendly people. Took us on a tour of the place. Only bad thing is that it was expensive. The group bought a present for our priest and it was genuine and beautiful

Passionate family owned business. Excellent quality and care into each piece. Very friendly and memorable experience. Visited August 2018. Purchased large olive wood cross with mother of pearl through out - one of a kind piece; love it! Will keep this in the family forever!

Bassem Giacaman is the owner. He is super fun and easy to work with. He is down to earth and reasonable. My other three friends and I were there at his shop today. His collectiond are quite various and selective. We are very glad to bring home some religious gifts from his store. Bassan even got us a free gift. His wood produces are mostly from authentic olive wood and home made. He is highly recommended. Since we had a good experience with our purchases today, we plan to come back tomorrow for more souvenirs. Thanks Bassen for a good experience at your store today .

Definitely the best place for shopping woodcraft souvenir in Bethlehem. Only few steps from Milk Grotto with hundreds of different products. You may visit their workshop which just located to the next door. They also provide free WiFi, free washroom & free access to the rooftop for panoramic view of Bethlehem. Last but not least, nice & helpful host.
