I've traveled twice using Holiday Factory as my agent, and once in Bali they phoned us to say they canceled our ferry tickets and booked our flights because the weather was bad. AMAZING service.

I used The Holiday Factory for a trip to Mauritius in 2022. I had a brilliant experience, including a representative visiting our hotel during the stay to ensure that all the details of our trip were up to standard. Highly recommend their service.

We used holiday factory in 2019 for our 10th anniversary to Thailand.. we were never disappointed at all.. everything was organised to the T.. Will ise them once again

My holiday to Mauritius was supposed to be at the time when the Covid-19 pandemic started so it needed to be delayed. Once rebooked it had to be delayed further due to restrictions being put back in place for another wave of Covid-19. After many difficulties I was unable to rebook and needed to attempt to sell my holiday or have it refunded. The service I received was simply poor and highly unprofessional, when it came to reselling my holiday I was given a run around of useless information, treated like I should have known all about the pricing structure and peak times to be in Mauritius, as if I worked in this industry. In the end I requested a refund to which I was refunded only 68.7% in two payments over 12 weeks apart, not to mention the amount they told me would be more until I eventually received my refund. I used another company weloveholidays.co.za for my Zanzibar trip who are a much more professional company. I heard of them through friends who had their holidays disrupted during Covid-19 as well. These guys refunded my friends 90% of their holidays or in some cases transferred the holidays to people who bought them from my friends at no additional costs! I was told more than once by the owner/director that they tried their best to assist me and that 'a good deed never goes unpunished'. They simply will not admit that they are ever wrong, such an arrogant company, chips on all their shoulders. I guess I'm the unlucky one since many reviews are positive but I did not get to go on a holiday because I guess Covid was my fault? I'm sure they at least are happy they did not have to provide me a holiday but still kept +R15,000.00 of my money. They constantly separated themselves from the airline and blamed the airline for slow refunds yet Air Mauritius refunded 90% of their clients money if you booked directly with them, why would it be different through a 3rd party company? Probably because there is a hidden fee on their side on top of the airlines, who knows. A professional company never blames their suppliers or sub-contractors especially to the clients but again these guys are highly unprofessional, don't be fooled by the website, it is good and made me believe that this was a good company but over a long time of dealing with them I came to see what crooks they are. I recommend looking elsewhere before using this company, there are many better providers.

You are clearly misleading the public with your reply. We changed our flight bookings ourselves. Our flights were confirmed with the relevant airline on numerous occasions. However on the day of departure our flights had been cancelled. It was confirmed that it was in fact the holiday factory that cancelled the flights. It is clear that the flights were cancelled simply because we tried to change it, and did in fact change it, without your assistance. The fact that you then went and cancelled the flights compelled us to use you for an emergency booking. So to be frank you invited the emergency booking and did not assist at all. We also have records of the abovementioned and will also not be turning a blind eye. We will be referring this to the consumer commission and IATA and this goes against consumer ethics to cancel flights just to ensure a fee to make a booking.
