A great shop with lots of interesting things from kids toys to tea cozies and hand creams and hats. There is a dedicated book store packed with reference books on South African flora and fauna with a few kids titles as well. The nursery section usually has fantastic indigenous and exotic succulents and a fair selection of other indigenous plants as well as kitchen herbs. You can access the shop without paying the entrance fee to the botanical gardens, the entrance is just to the right of the ticket booths.

Never have I experienced such poor service. Two assistants pretending they can not see me. When I asked another lady for assistance, I was referred to the two who were "busy" folding scarves. They were too busy with this job to assist me.
