Perfect setting. The only drawback is for those popping in for a meal is that there is only one unisex bathroom facility which really restricts your consumption of the abundant liquids they have available. Safety: In a perfect setting and very secure. We were able to leave our bicycles in the parking lot with absolute peace of mind. Food & drinks: Exquisite and delightful menu.

Are you looking for that picturesque tranquil restaurant away from the city bustle but yet within the city? Then you need to come to the African Peninsula Restaurant... Gosh... Even we were amazed to find such a romantic restaurant right on the BLUFF! Delicious spot for breakfast... And other meals... unique menu with a variety of items... Friendly staff...AND AN AMAZING DECK WITH A VIEW!!!

We only ate at the restaurant with breath taking ocean views. Beautiful chilled vibes. The food was amazing as well. I had the lamb shank, it was devine and was falling off the bone. Best i've ever had. Staff were friendly and professional. Definitely will visit again.Service: 5/5

Only ate the restaurant. Service was good. Food was good. But can be better. Had a hot chocolate with half of the glass being foam. But was decent. Had a gourmet burger but nothing about it was really gourmet. It was a good tasting burger, but a burger I could make at home. Not worth the R115 price tag. Views are spectacular though. There was a deck below the restaurant overlooking the ocean. The walkways were all wooden and there were trees all over. Very serene and nature filled.

We had a very poor experience after hiring this venue. The venue was not setup correctly, there was no support received to correct the mistaken made by the venue host. The work had to be redone by ourselves and was disappointing. Further, there is a lack of professionalism in general and the place appears to be lacking upkeep.Rooms: 1/5

I only went to the restuarant. The food could've been better. We had pasta and the source was so watery I am not sure whether you supposed to ask the waiter to add cream. The drinks also were off, I expected a crushed ice like strawberry daiquiri however it was so watery. I don't however take away the view and setting of the place it was so beautiful

Staff were friendly and accommodating, and location was perfect. Having the restaurant only a few steps away from the room was a nice touch as well. Check in process was smooth, however, we were given a different room than described on the listing. Rooms were old and smelled of mildew, but clean. Unfortunately, there had been a heavy rainstorm on the last evening of our stay causing water leaking from our bathroom shower light fixture and hallway, and our power to go out for the remainder of our stay. Because it was very late and our last night we decided to notify staff of the issue when checking out. We reached out to management as well after checking out to hopefully assist with accommodation considering we had no power the morning of checkout. Unfortunately nothing could be done after checking out since we did not notify management the night of the incident, even though it would have been more inconvenient to move rooms in the middle of the night during a rainstorm. Overall, this place was okay. The three stars are for the location and kindness of the employees. This establishment needs to update their rooms and perform routine maintenance to prevent issues like this from happening to other guests.

Definitely 5 stars for me! Absolutely amazing service , food was delicious. Lovely view and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great experience, we celebrated our wedding anniversary and they made it so perfect. Thank you once again

Very disappointed. The food prices were astronomically expensive for what you get. Food was just mediocre. Waiting time from giving our food order to receiving our food was almost 50 minutes. Too long. Much prefer the old previous deck layout. It was spacious, airy and had a lovely atmosphere. New deck and layout is too small and cramped. The fact that we had to pay for a box to take away our uneaten food was just not right given the expensive prices of everything on the menu - from starters, to mains, to dessert to beverages. Three of the items asked for were not in stock - horlicks milkshake, glass of wine and slice of chocolate cake. Will not be returning to this establishment again.

Fantastic breaker views from the outside deck, from inside and also from the protected covered area. Good atmosphere, very friendly and capable staff. Delicious and excellently presented food. Good value for money. Generous portions. Absolutely 5 stars from me. I will be back.
