The hotel is good for its price. We liked our stay there, its the perfect when you want to spend your days exploring the city and later just lay in a comfy bed. The hotel is the balance between a good price and comfort. The only disadvantages would be very thin walls you can hear people from the other rooms very clearly and it can be annoying and the bathroom could be cleaned more often. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. It was a great addition to our long weekend in London.
Do you know what I really wanted to give a good review but I can't. Stayed two nights first night was fine, room was clean but basic. Loved the security of it. Guy checking us in was nice too. So why the bad review? I don't think there was anyone else with us the first night. The second however was awful. The person upstairs decided to get in at two and get up at five. Every movement was heard through the floor boards creaking. No sleep was had. Massive shame. Walls are far too thin. Bit gutted as we have cut our day short now as we are both exhausted.
Very bad experience They charged me 35£ to arrive 30 minutes later than the check-in time. No credit card accepted of course. I paid and the guy, smartly, never returned me 10£ pounds back... No one in reception for anything. I called the phone number when I needed... No answer Dirty room, if you have allergy to dust just run away Shared bathroom even if this fact was not mentioned in the reservation. Conditions were supposedly sent by SMS but they don't even know how to get the correct phone number from booking Not a good area to hang out at night Nothing to remark, unfortunately
For the price and location its hard to complain, we were not disturbed and had a good couple of nights HOWEVER there were 3 things that bothered me. Firstly, we did need to change the dates of our stay slightly which they kindly accommodated, however only upon charging a £30 cash only “administration fee”. In a larger establishment I can understand this however we weren’t even checked in online as the computer wasn’t working, so it did feel a bit as though we were being ripped off. Secondly, our room advertised a kitchen space, which there was but the stove top and sink seemed like false advertising when there was 0 utensils. Not a single pot or pan, no plates, not even forks, knives or spoons. At least there were 3 coffee cups. Lastly there was no one around when we checked out, we called repeatedly and were forced to just leave the keys at reception. As long as you can avoid mistakes and “admin fees” you can enjoy a good stay with the proper expectations.
This place was excellent value for money, transport links around the place were excellent, 24h bus routes to central london, tube station was no more the 5 minutes either way to Stepney green or whitechapel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also had a customer car park. Would highly recommend.
Great location for central London. Nice, clean, well maintained room and en suite. Friendly staff and great value. Area and rooms were quiet.
Great for the price. Clean room, great location. Just keep in mind it's obviously no thrills, so limited check in times, no room service, etc.
Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were simple and contemporary, clean and tidy layout new carpet and furniture, value for money can't complain for the price.
Very cheap and not too far from the underground. No telly in the room and very basic indeed. Bed was comfy. Not bad for an overnight stay
Cheap and good. Close to restaurants, shops and the underground. The room was clean, the staff really friendly. Good choice to stay.
