The thembalihle station is destroyed and late at night people are afraid to cross when they came late from work because of crime. It is the risk because people can be also rob in the daylight because it not always busy...you need to be always careful when you around Thembalihle station. Don't cross at night.
Used this station far more than I can count, back in those days it was relatively active station, safety wise I'd give it a 4 out 10. As much it is next to a a relatively hot spot it is rather quiet. This days with every station affected I don't believe it is active. It is in derelict like the majority of the country's train stations.

I live close. I could say it depends. If you stay in the Suburbs than I wouldn't recommend it since its known to be dangerous, if you live in Kwamashu or surrounding areas, come on guys, we used to the shooting the car hijackings. That life chose us. So I would give it a 3 star being neutral. Its depends. I can't give it less or more.
It is broken down and it doesn't function
I live very close to the station, it' was vandalised so there's nothing much to say
It's so sad to see this damaged like that. Most people are struggling as there's no more trains passing there. Please help our community by organizing trains for this place
