I have never experienced such a dehumanizing treatment from the owner himself. When my mother passed on, I went to the Evaton mall branch to claim with my brother, whom was paying the premiums each month and one of the months, the son of the director had informed him that he can pay via an ATM deposit and retain the proof of payment in the premium book my brother kept. The director was at the branch when we went to claim with all the required documentation and he started shouting at us. Complaining that my brother paid one of the months via ATM deposit. I would assume they do not reconcile as per the reference you use to deposit but they let their customers to pay via an EFT. When I asked him what does the policy require, is that stated as a defaulted payment or breach of policy? he told me how I think I am better because I can speak English stereotypical, English speaking to him it is a measure of your intelligence. We were mourning our single mother whom we are trying to bury and he was shouting at an 19 year old and 25 year old. I would never on a good day encourage anyone to take TIRO funeral cover. The director is disrespectful and belittle people because he knows that his majority target market is the township community that is not privileged and have enough knowledge.
