Went in to see if I could get my film camera fixed. The gentleman behind the counter was all nice, said he could fix the camera and he knows what the problem was. I mentioned I opened the camera to have a look. Didn’t touch anything but just took the bottom off. He said because of that he cannot fix the camera. I understand and that’s fine but I asked why and from that point his attitude switched and i got a very unfriendly customer service and that’s when I left. Definitely will not be going back due to the disinterest and unfriendliness of the gentleman behind the counter. Should have just went to orms from the start….

Great photo developers! Incredible quick to develop photos and a great place to buy cameras from.

We went here to get our photos taken for emigrating to the Netherlands. Not only did the person develop more photos than needed and we had to pay for it, but the photos were not accepted once we were in the Netherlands. We even mentioned that it does not look correct but the person told us it is.

Good place for getting and developing film. Nice cashiers, they gave me information about what film is good and what I should try to get. My mom get her first camera from here and I’m happy that the store is still open. I’m definitely coming here to try get more film and get some holiday pictures developed.

Normally an excellent service. However, I wish they would update their opening hours on Google. I turned up at 5pm to a Closed sign despite their opening hours being advertised as open until 5.30pm on Google Maps. I mentioned this to the assistant but he seemed to think it was too difficult to do. Is this true?

Great place for film equipment, a bit expensive but comes with a warranty which pays for itself.

Terrible service. Any person hoping to get foreign passport photos taken for very young children, DONT! Stay away. The staff have no patience, and it was an awful experience. We asked for extra photos which were not printed, and then the staff instructed us to re enter the queue and that the photos would need to be re taken, which we were not prepared to do... Looking now at the pictures we did get I am now not convinced the consulate will accept these, and I would sooner drive to the other recommended photographers in Stellenbosh before ever returning here.

Helpful people, my 35mm camera needs repairs and i have a wedding at the weekend, so they book mine in and lend me a like for like. Perfect thanks so much. On of the few places that stocks traditiinal film equipment.

Do not take your film to be developed here! Found some old film from about 10 years ago and decided to get it developed. It did not return and received pretty poor excuses from Barry blaming the people who they out source the development to. I was offered a free roll of film, as if that can replace the memories on the film I took in and it really does not feel like they have made any effort to do anything about it. Pretty pathetic. I have written this review two months after it happened as I was hoping it would be found.
