Ordered a space saver online to grab the sale price.. only to find that they packed the wrong thing.. they did not want to exchange which is fine as they gave us a refund since the sale was no longer in place.. but waiting for two hours just for a simple refund is ridiculous.. we still had other places to be and we were due to the fact that we were made to wait for two hours which I did not understand..
Went to the store last week, the air conditioning doesn't work, it felt like 50degrees!! Stuffy, no air flow and tiny fans sparsely scattered which isn't nearly enough. Didn't enjoy the shopping experience at all and when I inquired about yhe poor lack of proper ventilation, a staff member said it's been like that for months. So Game stores doesn't even care about their own staff. Will go back when I want a taste of what he'll might feel like
Good service initially, but once you have paid...service is horrendous. Cannot get through on the phone, get lied to by the staff, get told they will call you back and they don't, and then when you try to call again...no answer. Get told your delivery is on it's way, 5 hours later still nothing Pathetic service
My brother purchased a television set early in 2022. The television set started malfunctioning so he returned it to the store to get it sorted out since it was still under warranty, in September. They assured him they would send it in for repairs and issued a slip to him which he is still in possession of. He still has not received the television set till this day. It has been over 4 months it has been in for repairs. He has tirelessly travelled back and forth to the store to enquire. Instead of being of assisted and given clarity, he has been ridiculed by the manager to a point where I had to step in. On the 31st of December my other brother and myself tried to get answers about this issue. I was absolutely appauled by the disgusting treatment we received that day from the floor manager Serr Chatty who spoke to us in such a condescending manner. We were once again turned away with no answers, no refund or something as simple as an apology for the incompetence of those involved. Game Liberty Mall has the worse service I have ever experienced in my life and the attitude of the management is absolutely pathetic. The customer does not come first at all. I am disappointed at the way they treat people.
i am writting this to share my dissappointment with the service i have recieved from Game Liberty mall in Pietermaritzburg i sent my TV for repairs on the 05 Dec.2022 and no one is giving any feedback on the status of the repairs and when i tried calling them you wait on the line forever and when happens someone take your call ;they are very rude and inpetient .they keep transferring you to the next person untill your call gets dropped off.i wish someone from their senior management can investigate this and deal with it accordingly it`s been over a month now and nothing has ever happened
Customer care is useless. No telephone etiquette or decent manner in greeting. I was passed across the store from person to person like a ping pong ball. All I need os a copy of the invoice for a store bought item. Surely someone can assist me. But looks like everyone cannot do their work. When I went to the store everyone was half asleep at the til because it wasn't busy. I bought item that was damaged and trying to get assistance is so hard because Game does not bother to help customers. Losing airtime listening to Dawn music and everyone not answering.
A few months back my fiancé and I went to purchase a cycling equipment from Game Liberty Midlands Mall.  We did not get any help what so ever yet there was a guy that walked passed us , we did say that there customer service is really poor. But what really got to me was, Yesterday I went to purchase something from game again and I waited to be called by the cashier but she was talking and the other lady told there is a customer about 3 times , after a few seconds she looked at me so I went to her till , firstly she doesn't even greet , secondly she scans my items and just throws it and thirdly she just tears my slip out the machine , i even said thank you but she just ignored me. It's really frustrating to get such terrible service.  Absolutely unacceptable!  Sort the staff out and provide better service!
Managers r never available, buy here all the time. They r useless. Replace them. Esp the store manager coz he is the one in charge and ppl under him can't be available to do their job. Have to wait and wait and wait at tills.
I bought a Samsung microwave from Game Midlands Liberty mall in 2012.. The microwave is just over a year old and it has a heating problem. I have taken in my Samsung Microwave in for repairs 9th July. Since then I got one call to say that the item is in repairs and sent to Samsung. I was told that repair are 21 working days. To date I have not received a call with a update, so I decided to call, after a few tries, I was transferred to the repairs department, which they said that they will check and get back to me. Today at 14.10 I got a call saying that the item was ready sitting in the store since 15th August. The service is unacceptable and pathetic. Game Liberty Mall you guys need to jack your customer service up.. I am terribly disappointed.
We returned a speaker that did not work as was demonstrated in the store. It didn’t stay charged and the Bluetooth constantly disconnected while it was being used. The speaker was sent off for testing and we signed a contract that said if we did not hear back in 21 days we were automatically due a refund. 21 days passed and we had to call Game 3 times and visit the store 3 times to get an update. On the 3rd visit we were told that we were not due a refund and it was probably late because of holidays???? We waited for over an HOUR for the manager who also gave us terrible excuses. Overall terrible customer service and inability to uphold a customer contract that they had us sign? We heard similar stories from multiple customers who were in the line and who had also been waiting for HOURS! We will never shop at or recommend Game.
