Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) is the transport SETA established in terms of the Skills Development Act, Act 97 of 1998. The primary function of TETA is to develop a Sector Skills Plan: facilitate the development, registration and implementation of learnerships, skills programmes and strategic initiatives. We oversee the quality assurance of education and training that falls within the scope of the sector in our eight chambers:
1. Aerospace
2. Forwarding and Clearing
3. Freight Handling
4. Maritime
5. Rail
6. Road Freight
7. Road Passenger
8. Taxi

Absolutely disgraceful service. I’ve been qualified for more than two years now and never received any word with regards to my trade test certificate not even a phone call. Would 100% recommend you go outside of this country to get what you want because this place is not worth the hassle. Can’t come right trying to call and it’s even worse with their response time via email.   This is my future and because of this useless place I can’t go any further in my career. All because of their incompetence in communication and issuing of trade test certificates. I wish I could give zero stars.

This place honestly ranks closely to the likes of Eskom. The call service is UNBELIEVABLY poor. They take atleast 5 minutes minimum to answer their phones and when they do, they keep transferring you between people because no one that works there is competent enough to assist you. Emailing them doesn't go any better, they take literal DAYS to respond. Don't bother applying for bursaries with these people as they have hidden criteria and agendas that they follow, and if asked about it they either hang up the phone immediately or they ghost you on email. This is incredibly disgusting from a company that is supposed to offer a "assisting service" but instead it's filled with incompetent people who offer nothing.

What a pleasant experience to interact with both Masana and Nellisiwe...So patient...so understanding...and so much willingness to guide and assist you. Excellent product knowledge.... keep the flag of Teta Flying High God Bless You Always.

One of the worst service I have ever received. My husband is still waiting for his trade certificate since April 2020. After 2 years for trying several phone calls and emails everyone in TETA gives a ****. I've been waiting for an email from them just to proof he is qualified for licence and after 2 weeks they tell me that they will send an email and then nothing.  THIS IS JUST PATHETIC!!!!!  TETA YOU ARE THE WORST!!!

I've been trying to call TETA no one is answering my calls, I have been waiting for my certificates since February and no one is helping me. What a bad service I guess I will never get  my certificate.

Great service from the officials, I was very much satisfied as they explained the outstanding documents on my application. Thank you.

Bad service I have been waiting for my trade certificate for the past 2years only to find out that my documents are still not processed by TETA I'm still waiting even 2 day.
