My husband and I were here on Sunday night because he had severe abdominal pain and was vomiting because of the pain. The receptionist Dumi was on video calls, chatting to another person about her weekend and what they did, she was also drinking coffee and scrolling through Facebook while we waited for her to assist us and three other people. The signa all over reception say that you should notify staff of pain and they will assist you so I went to her for the 4th time to say my husband is in pain when I was rudely told to “calm down because” she was busy… she then went on a massive argument with me and eventually started my husbands file. She asked where he works and I said Bushvalley Chickens - her attitude completely turned around and I was later asked if I can give her free chicken I didnt. My husband went in for a CT scan and I asked the lady where I should sit and the answer I got was “I am cery tired, you can do what you want, I couldnt care less…. This is supposed to be decent service because these people are supposed to help people get better!! We got back to the casualty ward and Dr. Steal was sleeping outside the ward. Myself and another lady asked her to help our husbands with pain and we were told “I will help you later, I am tired now”. This is not the first time I have heard of terrible experiences of this doctor. Later she strolled into the ward and told my husband that she doesnt know whats wrong with him so “he must go home and come back the next day if he still feels bad”. We were sent home with 6 Stilpain pills in the early hours of Monday morning… Thankfully when we came back Dr. Middelton really really went out of his way to help us and admitted my husband to hospital.
To the staff in D ward and ICU. Thank you for the great service and kindness with which you handled my wife To Doctor Buchel, Sir you are a gentleman , thank you for everything you did and for explaining everything in a way that we understood it . The hospital was at all time clean and welcoming, I have only one suggestion the rooms are a bit cramped with all the beds crammed in.Thank you for everything
There is alot if racism at that hospital. My mother was near death when she went there. They turned her back to Giyani saying they don't admit for pain. There is an Indian nurse who thinks that, that hospital is their family business. You must work on your huma relations. My mom was not going to ask to be admitted without paying. On top of that who sends away a person who's blood pressure was not stable and you say that's your protocol. That hospital is such a disgrace and thinking that in 2015 my grandfather passed away at that stupid hospital. Go to Netcare in Polokwane and learn a thing or 2. Or in Medi-clinic Polokwane. My 1 year old daughter at that time got turned away you guys saying she is not on the hospital network. A baby that needed oxygen. I would not recommend anyone to go to this hospital and they claim that it's a private hospital.
I received excellent treatment and was treated with care . Thank you.
I had the best experience here, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Very caring and no attitude whatsoever ever. From the cleaners, to people serving us food to the nurses who helped me deliver my baby. They made my hard delivery smoother by being so nice. We appreciate such acts and behavior. May you please continue and may all other staff do the same. Thank you, i enjoyed my stay
It's great. Customer service is friendly and sweet. Parking is wide and safe. The waiting area is awesome and neat and social distancing is maintained. The nurses are super awesome and they have got the best doctors ever. Food there is the same as in a restaurant. You can never regret being admitted there. Inside there is a great atmosphere and it's clean and neat. The wards are well made and very comfortable.
I am so much impressed by the service offered, the place is clean and the stuff is always ready for action
Another over congested private Hospital in Town,It's now more than an hour and 55 minutes still waiting for the blood test results of my mom86 as well as the Docters interpretation of such and the laboratory is just next door,It's frustrating really to experience this kind of service, to be honest there should be another Hospital in this area,to help cater for the people!
My husband needed an emergency operation. We were blown away by the extremely professional manner in the way that he was treated! From the friendly cleaning staff to the professionalsm of healthcare, we counted ourselves as fortunate to have landed at an establishment like Tzaneen Mediclinic!! Thank you to each and everyone involved in this positive experience in this hospital!!
Very disappointing, we were turned away when my dad needed asthma spray to save his life. We where turned back and instead of helping with the spray we where told to call ambulance that we had to wait for who knows how long and approximately they going to charge us R1000 for oxygen. The hospital could have helped us worse we had the spray sample
