N2, Great Kei Bridge. In my opinion this Shell Garage is much better than those in Cape Town. The staff and the people in general are so kind, hardworking and polite. Whenever I come to visit my daughter in Butterworth and I see this garage, I cannot just pass by but have to stop for my regular hot chocolate and my hubby loves his coffee. As this is essentially a self-help service, you have to make your own hot beverages, help yourself to whatever else you want and then pay at the cashier, who is always friendly. The petrol jockeys are always so jovial and eagerly enquires if you need an oil check or window clean.
It is a nice place, best location. Best gas station. Stuff is very friendly and they know their products. On top they advice the customer on deals or specials.Food: 3/5

The food was so nice, and the bathrooms beautifully clean. The music however, was VERY VERY loud. It was too noisy to enjoy our meal, we went to sit outside where it was quieter. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were available Parking: Be careful of the big trucks Wheelchair accessibility: I walk with two walking sticks and had no problem accessing the facilitiies
It's such a great location but toilets are not great , was even a lady banging on the door because she needed to go, yet the cleaner was in the toilet. Stores are looking like they have seen better days. People are openly drinking in car park.Food: 2/5

On the 17/12/2022 just after midnight, I was travelling with luggage on trailer. When I wake up around 01H44 the mattress base was stolen, the fridge was lying as if someone was trying to offload it. I tried getting hold of the manager with no luck on the landline . People this is not the right place to rest when driving at night.
