Nice set up however service needs to be improved. They also had a shortage of glasses for when ordering the beer boards. Had to take my empty glasses and then use to bring out the next beer board. I could understand if the place was full to capacity but it was far from so. Enjoyed the 1 litre drinks.
Great place with excellent well produced and great tasting craft beer. Food is also top notch due to the same chef Marcelle from the old Cafe '99. Chilled vibes and good times!
The vibe at this place is great. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it. Food is easy to eat and simple. The beer and cider is brewed locally which was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the cockails which included elderflower and caramel whiskey. Oh the caramel whiskey was just soooo good... This place is definately a must try...
Nice atmosphere. Very quick service we had drinks and a dessert, no meal.
Wonderfully eclectic menu. Poke Bowls are divine. They have a generator for when an ice cold beer during loadshedding is just what the doctor ordered.
Good stuff! Menus are nice and not very expensive. The drinks are as well, they have some interesting specials as well. A nice venue, quiet during the day. The food was very tasty. They make some of the tastiest bunny chows in Durban. I had some sliders and those were tasty as well. Staff were also very friendly if not a little bit distracted. All in all very much worth a visit.
Lovely in DBN City Restaurant. Visiting at the start of the week, the restaurant not too busy. Drinks and food arrived in due course. Each meal was presented well. Only remark is depending on where you are seating music can be a little loud.
My favourite! The most delicious food and so many options for Miss Picky over here! Great service, friendly humans and an all round great time!
I liked that it wasn't too big. You didn't feel like just another patron. The staff and managers were super friendly and courteous. The lavatories and dining areas are clean and neat. Conversation will have to compete with music that's just a tad loud on certain evenings but this adds to the ambience. It's not Oupas bar and grill. The menus are unique, wooden boards which is pretty cool. Great selection of local and international craft beers and ciders. All are good. Food menu is simple and perfect. The Unity Vegetarian Burger was one of the best I've had. It doesn't come with sides but the burger is hefty enough to hit the spot especially since you're going to accompany it with a beer. My companions all enjoyed there generous portions as well. Although it was busy, our order took around 15-20 minutes to get to us. I managed to pick up a few pages from their menu online but I'd suggest you go to their website just in case prices have changed. All in all, 10/10 would visit again. Update: Vegan food isn't good. Disappointed all 3 times.
Home to one of my favourite craft beers - The Red. The urban-pub atmosphere does a great job of setting the tone for some amazing food and drinks. The staff are friendly and efficient. Will be back to try more meals and grabs a few more beers.
