The management is incompetent, don't know what they're doing,No diligence whatsoever..If you wanna be stress free i advice you to not even think about this varsity as a place to further your education
The weather is grèat, it'ş cold at night eveñ if during the day it was hot. Popular languages around the campus are Northern SothoSepedi and Xitsonga language.
Not recommended take it as ur last option not first not second not second last but last option when u don't have a choice yes courses are great but infarstructure is bad also funding is bad service is bad everything is bad
It might be in a rural area and it is historical disadvantaged, but it trys so hard to deliver one if the best education, it just need an upgrade on the infrastructure. All in all a great place to be.
Guys please please please don’t even think about coming here to study , literally the worst university, bad bad bad location it’s a rural university , bad amenities and buildings , literally nothing to do here , IT IS VERY DIRTY & GHETTO , VERY bad infrastructure , bathrooms and residence rooms are disgusting as well . If this “university” is your last choice , don’t even do it . Take a gap year or go back to school to upgrade your marks to go to a better well funded institution that invests in itself
Indeed a "Rural University", in a time where everything is done over the internet their systems are so inefficient, and their staff is very slow and rude. I'd not recommend anyone to pursue any academia at that institution unless if they do not have any other option.
Upon entry at the gate, students present a Repatriation Letter issued by their respective departments, facial biometric identification system is used along side with temperature sensors and self screening methods at the gate. The most services are made available via contactless methods.
I am a graduate of the University and I recently visited the institution to witness my sister graduate. I loved the place as a student and still felt love for the place upon my recent visit. The institution has undergone a few changes and has had some good looking buildings constructed.
The place is decent, with a few attactive hills that provides an adorable view of the surrounding areas during the spring and summer seasons. The buildings are also a great work of art, though the building of this university are not ideal for the villages surrounding the university
I have visited sites around Gauteng and Limpopo. I have seen facilities that are dilapidated and vandalised, public facilities that have been neglected to the bone in many other institutions and public facilities in my province-Limpopo. But when I looked around my former University, I saw a habitat that shines through old memories! There new developments in the precinct but the facilities have been well cared for. Big ups for the management and especially landscape workforce, for keeping the place, a place of hope, an example of ethical leadership. I have seen the playing fields, a place that made me as famous as I emerged, during our times as football players, in the days of Sovenga Soccer League.
