The university of the Free State, Qwaqwa campus, is a modern campus with beautiful mountain views.

It's a good institution given the fact that it's located in a rural area. The campus has grown vastly over the past three years and more buildings are built, allowing for more students to come in. There's always something new and an improvement happening.

The worst place to study, when there's loadshedding and you are working in any of the computer labs on campus, you'll lose all your working if you weren't saving and it's even worse during exams...this university is not big on technology and that's just a tip of an iceberg. This place will never fail to disappoint you. The management excels in mistreating students. Walk far away from this place

Best university in free State

Perfect location for university if you want basics only. There are challenges there and there but for seldom it’s okay to be there.

This is the right place to come and learn and also make a few life friends while you are at it. The mountain views are just fabulous and also the green culture they have here. Unlike Bloemfontein campus mother campus, the Qwa-qwa campus has its own culture and properly the right people within it to make your experiences worth it.

I just went for my Covid19 vaccination. The service was impressive well done to all involved. The surroundings neat and modern. Sparkling Clean!

Still trying to make a name for myself. Trying to get a degree. I'm enjoying the campus life. Balancing my studies an' social life. This is a great place to come and study at, as it is away from the buzz of the city so you can get a peace of mind while studying!

Safe campus with friendly people. ATMs can also be found on campus. Wheelchair accessible parking can also be found.
