Excellent medical expertise. Very professional, friendly, warm and nimble nurses, staff and doctors.This includes the cleaning crew and the tea ladies. The food is excellent and tasty; very generous portions.

Thank you for saving the lives of my two kids on 6 & 7 October 2022. The facility has large parking space that caters for wheelchairs . The clinic is operational 24/7 however doctors remain on standby. I highly recommend this mediclinic.

I went to Upington for a procedure as it was my only option and I was a bit apprehensive. I had no need to be. The hospital is clean, food good, nurses and nurse aids are exceptional. I couldn't have been in better hands. Of course it goes without saying that Dr Arndt is Spectacular. Thanks again.

Shocking treatment. Not the nurses, but the doctor that was suppose to look after her. I got the feeling she was admitted at a inconvenient time, being Friday afternoon. The truth is, that after a second opinion we now realise that she was closer to death than she had ever been before and the fact that a trained medical doctor did not everything in his power to try to find out what happened, is appalling. If her condition was outside the scope of the Dr's training / knowledge / experience he should've brought in a second opinion himself to assist, not let her lay there for days without any answer, with limited interaction and limited tests. The treatment was sub-par and had my mother not seeked a second opinion, her life most likely would've been cut short. My siblings in the past have had great experiences there, however this time the situation was much more severe and it was more important than ever to ensure good, correct and professional medical care was given to my mother by the attending doctor. That is the least a patient who is at their most vulnerable, deserves!

My stay here was amazing.I never felt 1ns that i was in hospital,the stuff members and doctors wow.M glad i chose to come and give birth here.May God bless every stuff member in the maternity ward A.They still have passion for their profession.

This was my third visit to Mediclinic Upington. The first was for an emergency and it was a good visit, staff were friendly and accommodating. The second time it was for an orthopedic surgeryof a family member. Once again the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. This time it was for a denitistry operation. We went at about 5:30AM and a man at reception saw to us, he was quiet but very helpful and he did all the paperwork for us. The night time staff were helpful and welcoming. However, I had to constantly remind them I do not speak in Afrikaans. The hospital was very clean and all the staff seemed to work together very well. I was treated with respect at all times. Everybody I came into contact with were all very professional and caring. However, I would suggest when it comes to dealing with children to be more informative with the parents as I had to keep asking what is going on, what does my child need to do after surgery and so on. With regard to the nurses on duty I felt like no one reassured me everything would be okay. The anesthetist was the only one who answered my worries and fears brilliantly However, I felt like this time their customer service skills weren't up to scratch and I was a bit disappointed. Also I was upset because I had asked to be called as soon as my son woke up so that I could be there and they didn't call me, i instead heard him screaming down the hallway and had to run out to see him crying hysterically and them just watching him. So, from that moment I was not impressed. When it comes to dealing with adults they're good but they definitely need to improve on the way they see to children. Lastly, there is a cafe on site that offers tasty food for reasonable prices and amble parking space on-site. I would still recommend Mediclinic Upington as even though this time I wasn't happy with their service they are good at what they do.

5 Star service if I could give more I would. Thank you mediclinic staff baby care unit and doctors for your excellent service and patience. I could not have asked for better.
