Welcome to Urban Eatery restaurant, located in the heart of Vereeniging, We are a family run restaurant, which offers a homely and relaxed atmosphere. This great atmosphere is only matched by the tasty dishes our kitchen prepares for you.

Only the finest ingredients are used to prepare your meals. We take care with all of the dishes prepared in our kitchen, to ensure that you experience a variety of cuisines. We are also the only restaurant in the Vaal to offer a Tapas menu. All our pizzas are made fresh using imported Italian double zero flour and baked in our wood burning pizza oven.

As always....the best food, prepared and presented to perfection. The snails were so expertly prepared, I almost finished it before remembering to take pics! The hake was divine - juicy and perfectly coated and seasoned served with fluffy mash and smooth lemon butter. The lemon grenadilla cheesecake was beautifully presented and just the right size. Great and efficient service by the waiter making sure this was an absolutely delicious afternoon!
Four kitchens in one restaurant. So everyone can have something to choose from. The food is good and the service is great. I always stop by when im in Kenya. I had the butter chicken. It was fantastic.
Headed here for breakfast but fled after coffee! Welcoming at the door was very stiff. Table cloths had stains. We ordered cappuccino but they had no cream. Coffees arrived with half the coffee spilled in the saucer. No apologies. We decided to rather have breakfast somewhere else. Won’t be back.
Can't really complain about anything at this place. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. The place does lose a bit of seating should it rain but other than that, a must visit if you're in the area.Food: 5/5
Absolute horrible service and food. Waited 20min for waiter to take drinks order. 10 more min for menu, 20 min more for drinks. 15 min more to order. Then we waited between 45 to 90 min for ice cold terrible food. Some people were finished eating more than 30min before other people even received their food. We didn't send it back because we were scared to wait another hour. I only had one beer because the waiter never brought more even after asking multiple times for more. Still waiting. Absolute horrible experience.
This used to be me and my husband's favorite restaurant. But had bad experiences the last 3 times that we were there. Every time we go back to give them the benefit of the doubt. But last night was the cherry on top and I will never go back. Got a fly in my food, prawns over cooked, and all that was said was sorry. A cat begging for food at our table. No thank you this was the last visit ever.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant...! On the 28-01-2023 the cycling club I belong to in Durban, visited this restaurant, and we all had the various types of pasta dishes and drinks, the meals and services were satisfactory...! However my partner and I went there the next and I ordered the lamb shank, it was the worst lamb shank I ever was served, it was hard as a rock, I complained to the manager and he said to me that's how they prepared their lamb shank, I had to pay for it and I gave it to the parking attendant...!
The atmosphere is good and the waiters are very friendly and they constantly chec if you need anything from time to time… the food ? I give them a 100 %
Very dissapointed,ordered the snails for R75 and just recieved 3 snails in the whole bowl..I mean a can of snails is not that expensive they could atleast put 6 to 8 in
Had a wonderful and cozy evening. The service was impeccable and so were the food and drinks. The menu is reasonably priced as well. Ample parking and there is security which puts you at ease. I'll definitely be recommending this place and visiting again soon!
