As uSisi Designs is manufacturing business whose clients are all over the world, we have found this to be a suitable platform for us to interact with these clients. To no only find out about product preferences in the different areas, but to expose clients to other products and color combinations that they haven't ordered yet.

Our mission is set at delivering beautifully handcrafted scoobie wire jewelry that is a true depiction of style, color and evolving innovation to our clients.

We value community development and truly believe in teaching a man how to fish instead of providing him with fish everyday. Our producers are women from the Pietermaritzburg peri-urban area who were previously classified under the disadvantaged. The work they do has assisted in putting their children through school and for some building houses for them to live in but above all ensuring that there is money to put food on the table.

We are proud of the products we make and know that those who wear it do so proudly as well.

Mission

The mission of uSisi Designs is to enhance our products and procedures in all areas of our work to increase profitability, productivity and quality. To nurture and train all staff to develop personally and professionally through skills and gifting’s for a more sustainable livelihood. To create a dynamic business and workforce which benefits both uSisi Designs, the producers and their families.

We are big on exceptional hand work and ethical work practices.In 2004, uSisi Designs was launched... and aimed at giving disadvantaged South African Women a means to support themselves and their families. Currently up to 60 women from different cultural backgrounds work together to craft the groups’ innovative products.
