Though it is an incredible facility that gladly accommodates our swimmers' gala events. It is very sad to see the lack of maintenance undergone over the years. Many broken chairs and damaged windows are evident. The starting blocks and timer pads need to be refreshed. Hopefully, Mbombela municipality will step up to plate and do some much needed upkeep on this beautiful facility.
It is a great pool. They have been working hard to clean the pool and when we were there last the pool was awesome to swim in. The kiddies pool still needs a bit of cleaning.
I attended the CANA gala. The pool itself looked well taken care. The event was professionally executed.
It's a great pool. The place just needs painting. Don't be put off by the way it looks from the street.

Entrance fee was affordable . We had braai with my friends. Swimming pools were clean. It was lovely.
Definitely not what it used to be a couple of years ago - it is sad to see the infrastructure being poorly maintained by the City of Mbombela but nonetheless, still grateful for access and the opportunity to train in a 50m pool. Thanks to Mpumalanga Swimming for their continued support to City of Mbombela - without them, I doubt it would be useable.
Vast improvement so far this year. Well done Mbombela.
Very good for a municipal swimming pool.
