The most beautiful and elegant place for watching a string quartet. Absolutely magical.
Amazing concert venue, the Dire Straits were great!
Nice concert, nice theater. I recommend it. It also has a good parking.
Night fever: the very best of the Bee Gees
On Saturday evening I saw King Crimson here. Seats and seating is good. Good view from all the seats when you are in front of the stage. It was a warm evening outside but it was rather cold in the concert hall. I had to put a sweater on due to the draft. I experienced very long cues at the toilets in the break. There are only two rooms for toilets. A larger and a smaller one. Both very busy. I did like the place besides from the cues. With good weather they have a terras out. It cannot be accessed from the concert hall but nice to have drinks before the show.
Great architecture, a unique combination of art-déco, art-nouveau and classicism. Its great hall has astoundingly good acoustics, easily the best in the country. Orchestral sound is warm and reverberant, but very detailed and accurate. Even maestro Mengelberg preferred this hall to 'his', more famous, hall in Amsterdam. My sister described the sound of the hall as being inside a lava-lamp: sound from the orchestra rises up, converges, mingles and then warmly decends back to envelope the audience. Concerts are somehow city too small, too many seats? never sold out, so you can even get tickets minutes before concerts. Go see and hear the Phion orchestra when you got the chance: they are amazing and play the hall to its fullest potential, especially in Mahler or Bruckner.
Top location for concerts
Nice place to eat. God and fast service.
Beautiful venue and very nice food
Terrible and very disappointing food. I ordered veg corn soup but it came with meat pieces. You can imagine how disappointing this is.. I think they even charged for their wrongdoing I wouldn't recommend
