Very good for a temporary gym. Has all the needed machines and equipment necessary for workouts. Staff are really helpful and friendly, and there are many classes available to choose from. Unfortunately there is no shower area/pool, but it is a temporary gym.
It's sad seeing VA George like this when it was a TOP gym 10-12years back when I joined VA the first time. I know alot of people left because of that b/tchy mangers whe tries to find fault in everything but besides that it is really sad the owners never cared about the upkeep. Tha last time I was their it was the same equipment as when they almost just opened and I used to go there with a friend's dad and well just play around on the machines or in pool. 20years back. And never upgraded.
Goodday it is my First few months at Virqin Active and the facilities is so clean and neat everytime. I appointed Ivan Kessler as my Personal Trainer and he is awesome. He helps and show me every excercise correctly. He is very motivated to hellp me reach my fitness goals. I would HIGHLY Recommend him to anyone that want to achieve their health Lifestyle Goals.
State of equipment is poor. I have reported damaged equipment on 3 occasions to 3 different club employees and it still remains broken after weeks.
Only had contract for a few months then cancelled as opposition gives my 3 babies free access
Great place to be at. Staff is amazing and the equipment is in good shape. Lots of variety in classes offered, aswell as the equipment and trainers. Beautiful and clean pool. Bathrooms are always clean and it's private and spacious. Well done to the staff and owner!! You guys run an amazing gym.
This was everything I needed in a gym when I first signed up to use the Heatherlands facility in George. Now, due to unforeseen circumstances, the gym has had to move and will only be back to normal much layer next year in newly built premises. So from now until then the gym is in temporary premises and in particular there is no swimming pool! So I have downgraded my previous review from a 5 star to only 1 star. Maybe next year I'll change my mind when they are back to "normal".
Cherney, the sales person provided excellent service. She is extremely professional and went the extra mile. I have not used the gym yet but if you want to join, ask for Cherney.
Good gym with friendly staff! The people working on the floor are approachable and kind, ready to help you when needed. Easy access to the biokineticists who are very skilled and helpful. The swimming pool is well maintained and the locker rooms are neat and clean. Well equipped to top it all of!
Very vey expensive. Try Just Fitness rather
