Terrible gym. Machines are always broken and take months to be fixed. The entire gym is sharing one machine at some points. Mirrors are missing and weights are always laying around and no attachments are in sight. Machines are ancient and neglected. Went to planet fitness today and a HUGE step above you guys. You don’t care and are lazy because there is no other gym in the area. When the planet fitness gets built around the corner. You better up your game or I be leaving your establishment !!!
My girlfriend's personal space was violated at this gym to such a degree that she was physically hurt by another male member. The staff did absolutely nothing but laugh at the situation and was very unprofessional. The management at this gym is non existent and there wasn't a single manager on site. My girlfriend's friend had to use the panic button in the classroom to defuse the situation. With great regret I moved over from Plannet Fitness and in the first 2 weeks being at the gym I had to ask for management to step in on multiple occasions but there is never a manager on site. The staff that were present told that they had no idea when a manager would be in but most likely in 5 days from when I requested. I'm currently still waiting for a manager to contact me. This gym is nothing less than a circus being operated by incompetent staff.
Gym is managed extremely poorly, the equipment is not maintained with basic issues taking months to fix. Hard to believe this gym is part of the same group after visiting Loftus. Up your game guys, you only have customers because of the lack of competition in the area !!
Absolutely disgusting. Weights left lying all over the weights section. H&S violation! No fitness staff present in the weights or cardio sections H&S violation. Receptionist is more concerned with shouting to her co-workers as they walk away. I mean the general disregard for members and staff towards their employer is just mind blowing. I entered this club @ 20:04 04/01/23. CGM I will be in contact, HO I will be in contact.
Very spacious gym, has a sauna and steam room which are big and well maintained. Gym has various studios for different classes. The weight section is big. Has underground parking and open parking.
Gym equipment looks old and very warn out. Looks like it is not well maintained. Weights are lying everywhere and the Kauai inside is pathetic and slow
Hazeldean Virgin Active is really in a bad state. Mirrors are missing, gym equipment is broken and the layout for the gym area is the worst I have seen from all the Virgin Active gyms
Good gym but half the equipment is hardly ever functional. Waiting forever to use a machine the few that work when the gym is overcrowded
Friendly staff, well maintained equipment, and frequent cleaning.
Very spacious Virgin Active. One of the bigger gyms you’ll find.
