When I joined Virgin Active a few years ago, MJ helped me with my contract. To this day, when he sees me, he remembers my name! This Virgin Active is just absolutely fabulous! Staff are always friendly at the reception - some of them remembers your name. Always helpful - loads of machines - lots of different classes to join. Trainers are super efficient. Cleaning staff always greet you. Love the changing rooms especially the few cubicles. Showers and toilets clean. Reception staff go extra mile with special holidays - will dress up, wear headgear, etc. Sometimes I'm silly too!
Nice gym with lots of equipment. But the toilets are smelly. Victory Park could give some lessons on clean toilets. Then there is the lady swimming coach constantly screaming at the kids so the whole gym must hear her
It really is a grait gym only thing they can improve on is insuring the waits are at the right place because I constantly need to look for dumbells which is scattered all over the rack. Grait equipment stuff you wouldn't generally get at other virgin actives. All I can say is improve tidiness.
We can’t have a gym with no generators when we pay so much. Like at least power up the studios so classes can go on. I mean nothings works not even the mere treadmills this is disappointing

Beautiful Gym, probably one of the biggest in Gauteng. There is a lot of parking space. The gym offers different functionality and many training classes from weight, to reformer Pilates, yoga, swimming, riding, boxing classes and spinning. There are dietician and bio-kinetics available. Very friendly staff
Awesome fitness club and our local place for gyming. Super friendly staff and excellent service. JGT
Clean, spacious, friendly and helpful staff. Showers are always available. Awesome pools. Loads of lockers. Change rooms are huge and lots of fabulous furniture to relax. Different classes to suit your fitness levels. Kauai in the Gym makes it convenient as well.
No back up power during load shedding.Weight area very dark poses a health & safety risk.Staff always reluctant to switch on emergency lights & in most cases never do.
I fell off the treadmill, the staff did not care to assist. Staff are unhelpful and don't care.
