They give you one price when you drop off then a whole new price when you pick your product up after they have worked on it . Disappointed in their services and will definitely not use VR again
i took my TV to Macro as it has a 5 year warrantee. Macro said they are sending it to JHB, instead it landed up here. The TV had a big blue line under it and the rest were black. it was almost like black paint coming over the screen and left the blue line. When i got to Macro it was only a small blue dot let that looked like a finger print. The guys at macro thought that the tv was bumped at the blue dot but I showed them the picture of what the tv looked like before i brought it to them. they changed there story and said its the lcd that has blown. Long story short these guys said that the tv was bumped and that screen is cracked. if you ask me they saw the blue dot and didnt even open the tv. I contacted them and the owner was or busy or out. I will not recommend this place. to busy for customer service.
Since 2012 I've been using VR Electronics whenever time comes to replace my PT720 Philips electric shaver's shaving heads. Someone had recommended them to me then when Google Maps searches weren't as much in use as now
VR Electronics have been around for 25 years and service both industrial and Consumer electronics. The owner Pieter was trained as a fully qualified engineer on aircraft and runs a tight ship offering the best quality sales and repair service with most of the well known brand names. Comes highly recommended.
Almost 3 months after I dropped my inverter I heard nothing from them. I eventually phoned to be told they will get back to me. Another week later and nothing. Another phone call and still nothing. Eventually I went around and fetched it. Was then told there was nothing they can do to fix it. R280 well spend. What a joke
Samsung tv screen went blank. Sms received from VR Electronics that they find nothing wrong. I went to collect today, technician said he plugged tv in and it worked. Charged me R450 which I queried since price board clearly says R200 to R450 will be charged if repair quote is not accepted. No repairs were required, they didn't have to open it and fault find. Cashier adamant that I had to pay R450. Absolute rip off, should be ashamed of themselves. Will never support again or recommend.
I've waited 6 months and zero feedback to fix hoverboard. They cannot fix it and want me to pay labour to collect a broken unit. No service delivery , no communication. Absolute disgrace .
