Biodiversity research and mapping across southern Africa
VME is a non-profit, totally neutral organization, aimed at promoting conservation, and research, bridging the gap between tourism and scientific research.
Part of the practical contributions are field trips, where VME collects photographic data on species distribution for research purposes and to enrich our current knowledge.
Data is contributed to various Virtual databases and Museums for public access to all info and photographs.
The ADU's virtual museums is (among others), the main beneficiary of all photographic data collected.
