Warriors FC is a youth soccer club that caters for kids from 3 to 16 years old at The Wanderers Club and Sandton Sports Club.
At Warriors FC we strive to create and nurture players to play skillful football with confidence, flair and enjoyment .
Based at, and part of, the beautiful Wanderers Club and Sandton Sports Club, our players are lucky enough to be exposed to the superb facilities that the club has to offer, with access to both the world class astro facilities of Discovery Soccer Park as well as the Wanderers grass fields and lighted full size fields at Sandton Sports Club.
Our full time professional coaches strive to focus on each player individually and personally in an attempt to make each player, whether naturally gifted or not, the best he or she can be so that they may derive maximum enjoyment from the game.
We invest substantial amounts to send our coaches on the best training programs available. They receive weekly on-site tuition in the world-renowned Dutch Coerver training program from the head of Coerver South Africa. In addition, many of our coaches rank amongst the more highly qualified in the country being amongst the few who have obtained advanced licenses offered by SAFA.
From our under 6’s up to our under 12’s and our Academy teams for older children (some of whom are full time at the club and who train and receive academic tuition at the club), we aim to create both elite teams who are able to compete at the highest level locally and internationally as well as catering for less serious players who love soccer and wish to receive the best soccer tuition available and play in recreational teams.
Our U11 squads travel annually on a once-in-lifetime overseas trip. In 2013 and 2014 under 11 elite squad entered Europe's leading youth tournament in Kitzbuhel, Austria - the Cordial Cup, where they played against Bayern Munich, and other leading European academies. In 2014 we also sent an under 11 team to the Real Madrid academy in Spain and the Donosti Cup in San Sebastian.
